In an interview with Sky News, former Mossad Chief  Da nni Yatom said last week that Israel must be prepared for the possibility of military attacks on Syria, which may deteriorate into war.  He said his warning stems from the fear that Syria’s hundreds of tons of chemical weapons will fall into the hands of terrorists.

Consistent with current events in Damascus and the latest Intel on the movements of SAF,
OR (Operational Readiness) is now a fact on Israeli Air Force Base 8 (Tel Nof ) with the 106th and 114th Squadron (The CH-53 Sea Stallion) , should Assad panic the coming weeks and deploy his WMD from his current position/hide on the An-Nusayriyah (alawite) mountains (East of Latakia). Equally, NATO/USAFE squads on Incirlik Air Base are on OR, should WMD be ready to be released.

WMDs, hmmm? Now, where did they get WMDs?

Ah yes, that's where they've been all along!

Funny, I remember discussing this about 6-7 years ago. Many of us believed that Iraq's WMDs were moved to Syria. In fact, we had man debates about this topic, right here on ATS.

I'd like to know what WMDs these are, that NATO are talking about.

Wow, there are red lines drawn on a map. That's proof beyond all reasonable doubt then.

Though the direction of the arrows seems to be weapons leaving Israel so it's possibly correct.

*groans* Why does the mention of WMD's always have to lead back to Iraq with some people.

Egypt gave Syria chemical warheads back in the '70's and from then on, Syria became not just a regional leader, but a world leader in the manufacture of Chemical weapons.

So who are the terrorists? I thought according to the west the FSA were the good guys?

You have to accept the fact that some people choose to live in delusion, until reality hits them hard in the face. Her inquiry is not difficult to understand. It is based on self chosen ignorance and fear of "knowing" how things really are in the world contrary to her assumed ideations. I post "lighter" Intel primarely for the old guard here on ATS, and not for bored and petulent kids.

Because when Bush mentioned Iraq with WMDs all those years back, he was actually referring to Syria...

Because it is a fact that most of the chemical WMDs were moved from Iraq to Syria just prior to the U.S. invasion in 2003. Some of them were destroyed with the help of Russia, but not all. Russia helped Iraq destroy, or move, many of the weapons because they were the ones who sold them to Iraq and didn't want to be implemented. This is why Russia is involved with the Syria issue now. Only to try and recover what they still can, before many of them are moved, or end up in the wrong hands.

This is also the (secret) between Obama and Putin. Obama knows what's going on. Those of you who think Obama has links to the CIA are wrong. His links are with the KGB. His people, along with Soros went on a decade long media mudslinging event to taught "No WMDs in Iraq" and "Bush Lied" for the direct reason to discredit Bush's administration and the U.S.

The falling apart of Syria has drastic consequences, and will result in the unveiling of Obama's mask very soon. He is communist, he is progressive, he is against America and he is working with the Russian intelligence. Those of you who continue to support him through all of this will not be treated nicely by the American people who are still very patriotic and very sincere about their country.

WWIII will start in the Middle East, but will unfold here very soon. Which is exactly the reason Obama will sign the Arms treaty at the end of this month. They will do all they can to disarm Americans. The veil is lifting and they don't want the American citizens to have the tools for a successful revolt. We are a divided country and lucky for us, on America's side, we are still very well and very highly armed. Unlucky for the Obama supporters, who've been conditioned to be afraid of guns.

It's not a fact. I know Georges Sada claims they went to Syria, but has he got actual proof? No. Could he have made it up? yes.
