What does this mean?

Sometimes when I try to read a post I get this.

Above Top Secret 3.1 � Moderators Only � Trash Bin �

Does this mean that the post has been deleted?

Yes, its been deleted. The mods can see it and (I assume) perform various acts upon it (Empty it, replace it to the forum if necessary, feed to the hamster)

It means that the thread was either pointless, was a duplicate, or degenerated into a flame war, and was trashed.

nah, but its ATS junkyard and mods take it in turns cleaning out the trash

So when a thread has been moved to the trash bin or deleted is it customary to give no reason or response when questioned ?
