Hi everyone.
Been lurking for years , following various forums and their fascinating topics and so I thought it about time I made some some contribution to this fabulous place .
A little about me .
I have never heard a bump in the night . Never seen strange lights in the sky . Dark beings have never crossed into my peripheral vision . I have never seen red glowing eyes in the headlamps of my car while driving down a dusky dirt road. Every time I hear my name called from behind me , I look around and there IS actually somebody there. I have never witnessed the slaying of a president, or travelled through time.

With all that said .......... I believe

I never noticed before , but there are some excellent avatars to be seen on this site . I think I especially like the animated ones

Admittedly I was 13 years old when we moved so most of my life has been spent here in Oz ... however it's amazing how memories stay with you through your entire lifetime.

An example is how, a couple of years ago I took my family to the UK and Europe for a 6 week vacation and naturally had to visit the old home town. I'll tell you what though, the minute I hit the town centre, I immediately was able to get my bearings and without any maps or gps, was able to drive directly to my old street and yes, the house was still there ... what a buzz that was ! Was also able to find my old primary and high schools too.
Almost like it was just yesterday that I had last been there instead of many, many years ago.
