“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all
my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind
thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”
― Dalai Lama XIV
This is a paragraph to live by. From Tibet to the US we're all human. Language, culture, distance, and experiences separate us. But one thing connects
us, we're human. With that acknowledgement comes the beauty of our species, love, compassion, joy, laughter, smiles. But there"s more to us than
that, there's the other side, jealousy, hate, anger, delusion, greed, and this is why we must develop ourselves positively, not only for ourselves but
for the world.
“If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.”
― Dalai Lama XIV
The negativity committee. – You can never fail in life or love; you just produce results. It’s up to you how you interpret those results.
Positive thinking is the ability to feel negative when you have to and still maintain enough hope to keep on going. You cannot tailor-make the
situations in life, but you can tailor-make the attitudes to fit those situations. You must view your life through a positive lens. Instead of
slapping your forehead and asking, “What was I thinking?” you must breathe and ask the more encouraging question, “What was I
learning?”
I present 10 toxic personalities inside us we must extinguish.
