English isn’t my first language…moving right on then.
A little bit about myself, I was brought up Christian, but I like to ask question and to analyses things so you get one guess as to how all that
I’m more of an sceptic than a believer, I would love to believe some of the crazy stories on here, but if you dig around long enough and get the
facts right there is normally a totally logical explanation. Like a cover up
Anything unexplainable ever happened to me? Loads of things.
One of the topics I am interested in is sleep paralysis. I suffer allot as child and in my early twenties. It stopped though, as soon as read what
it was, I think it happened once after and then never again. Anyways, I grew up being pretty scared to go to sleep since I didn’t know what it
A creepy tale I can account happened a couple of years back. Before I knew what sleep paralysis was. I have always had this irrational fear of a wolf
“thing". That is what watching never ending story does to you as a kid.
Just before this episode of sleep paralysis I was dreaming that something was at my window trying to get in, I could hear it breathing and it was this
wolf creature, my nemesis... I wake up thinking I’m too old to have night mares and then to my horror I’m parallelized and oozing sweat terror
out of every orifice in my body. AND this thing is still outside my window!
I don’t know how or where I suddenly found courage from, I just
decided enough of this and a reached out towards the knife next to my bed.
I just decided to face my fear and get it over with one way or another. As I said I was paralyzed so the reaching for the knife didn’t work
initially , but ever so slowly (like some kind of slow motion action shot) my hand started moving, it was the hardest thing I ever did in my life. The
moment my hand closed on the knife, it was like a bubble burst and the sleep paralysis was gone. I was rational again and the boogie man was gone.
I sat there for a couple seconds thinking I achieved something now, not sure what and thank full it was just a crap dream.
AND THEN “click click click click” something walking outside my window, like a dog or something.
Instant chills. Then the security lights
goes on just around the corner.
The area outside my room was paved and I believe it really was a dog sniffing at my window. The house had no fences, allot of the people in that
area’s dogs roams free at night. And right next to the house, well there was nothing just nature for many many miles.. Living right next to a
What do I think? When your asleep you are not dead to the world and if your senses picks something it will intrude into your dream state to try and
get you to wake up. Things gets messed up in dreams and that is how you see aliens and demons depending on what you are familiar with. If it happens
at the wrong time, you get an episode of sleep paralysis and that just adds to the crazy. Some times there really is something like that one time
with me, other times it’s just a weird/unusual noise that triggered the events and your subconscious makes up the weirdness.
There is a couple of more stories I can tell regarding this topic. One involving glowing spheres and loads of pain associated with it - with some
sleep paralysis thrown in also just to make it more crazy. But I will wait for my 20 posts until I start a topic on that.
That’s it, hope it not a TLDR.
Feel free to point out in inconsistencies or whatever, it’s mostly likely a langue problem and I will clear it up.
