Apparently it is possible to elect a (moderately) liberal plurality in post-Arab Spring nations, and perhaps AQ doesnt' actually rule everywhere??

Of course ther is the small matter of 120 "independant" candidates and who they will support - it seems no-one really knows - the Parliament has 80 seats reserved for political parties, and 120 that they cannot contest - which is an interesting move.

It's very positive news.

It seems the Libyan youth in particular are voting for policy, rather than ideology, which is great.
