Assad unlike his father didn't get rid of the problem at the beginning thus letting his forces get weaker and weaker, but the FSA has no chance of winning at the moment.

Yet you are believing the Assad would use Chemical and Biological Arsenal weapons against Syrians, thats not someone who is not following the mainstream propaganda.

It gave a few points I agree with, anyone who needs to ensure the survival of it's people would Assad won't use his WMD arsenal unless he formed his own state which would be threatened by the majority of the Sunnis.

First time helicopter gunships were used by Assads forces in the capital, it happened less than 24 hours ago so it is hours.
Helicopter gunships, this is undeniable escalation.

When Saddam used helicopter gunships to suppress Iraqis, the UN imposed no fly zones. The situation here is the same, intervention is just around the corner.

Just heard the Free Syrian Army commander had given up hope on world's efforts at sanctions, and even that refused by Putin, as the struggle now goes beyond any use of sanction help. Kofi Annan was right to delay the UN vote now. Chapter 7 is useless based upon new realities. The Rebellion wants the HumanSlayer's head regardless of the cost.

It would be a no brainer as to the victory will be for whom. The FSA had proven themselves courageous beyond belief in the course of human history, ak47s against tanks and choppers, far more than the imperial japan army of the 40s and the vietnamese.

But in that victory...lays death for all....

The issue right now is the Chemical Weapons stockpile. Beast Assad will depress the button for multiple launch when he knows the end is near. Press that button and all Syria will die, along with neighbouring nations and our world that have to deal with the residue fallout.

2. America, with its tech, to stop those weapons, in missile or tank ammo form. Turkey is the nearest friendly state.

3. Divine intervention, that the beast do not press the button.

In any case, the Free world best standby divisions of medical doctors with antidotes to chemical weapons, to save as much lives as possible, including neighbours, once that button is pressed. Syria can be a wasteland, but human lives MUST be saved where possible.

From Israeli Air Force Base 8 (Tel Nof ) The 106th together with 114th Squadron (The CH-53 Sea Stallion) are on operational readiness, should Assad panic the coming weeks and deploy his WMD from his current position/hide on the An-Nusayriyah (alawite) mountains. Equally, NATO/USAFE squads on Incirlik Air Base are on OR, should WMD be ready to be released.

Russia is not an issue here, because although Putin can allow Assad to do much towards his people in exchange for the ability to use port Tartus, he can never defend him if he chooses to kill his own people and the people of Israel (orTurkey), by the potential drift of Chemical "headwinds" from released VX or Sarin. I fully agree with your post that Russia will fail to justify that animal Assad if he presses the button, except for the above.

He is only a human, and fortunately, no matter how humans behave, a pattern, a profile, can be determined based upon his actions and motivations. It had proven successful in many cases, and even in historical studies throughout the course of our recorded human civilisation.

He is no different from the devils Stalin, Hitler and Mao.

Even though a muslim, with priviledged and peaceful islamic upbringing that teaches morality and responsibility above all, he had proven he is willing to slaughter fellow muslim humans in order to ensure his own survival and priviledges, not by one, or few, but by tens of thousands as the records through the 14months of Syrian Revolution had shown.

If regime loyalists, loyalist members of the Alawite community and the remnants of the regime were to withrdraw to the Alawite mountians and the Nort Western region, that would mean they have lost control of the majoirty of Syrian territory and have lost legitimacy. This would mean that a new sovereign would take control and they would be able to invite international military aid and so forth without having to worry so much about Russia. In effect it would be a move of desperation, signaling an inability to have any control in Syria and mark the end of the Baathist regime. I doubt it would occur with the regimes current position, which while it is weakening and major gains have been earned by the opposition, still controls the majoirty of the terriotyr and heavy weapons.

What is interesting is that the opposition has become more organisied and well armed thanks to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar, and what else is interesting is that high level military officers and generals have defected to the opposition recently. Could this mark the begining of the end? Or is it a brief hiccup?

The huge red color shows armed activity, the rebels dont have the control of the country nor 60% of it, it also sems that the rebels are coming through from Israelis border .
