Just saw a news report and video on Sky news (uk) Poland had two tornadoes. Is this normal? Have never heard of them hitting Poland before, we have had a couple in the uk before, but they were small, these in Poland were pretty big.

Hi there from Poland mate! Yup, the tornadoes were quite visceralr however short lasting.

I always wonder at times like this. Were there such occurances ever happening before (like 100 yrs ago?) but due to lack of info flow were not reported or do we really have more and more weird weather events around our polanet?

Cheers.

Really strange, i do not live far from poland, as well visited it.
But can' t remember of any tornados before in poland nor neighbouring countries.

And all over Europe the weather acts weird. Unusually cold, and fast changes from strong winds to sunshine to rain witth a doom looking sky..

There was even an avalanche that killed mountaineers on Mt. blanc (french/swiss border), very unusual in july.
