What does this black bar indicate next to the thread title? I see they're used on other forums besides the Board Business Forum. I did a search but couldn't come up with an answer.

From looking around a bit I'm pretty sure the black bar indicates a thread with a large amount of posts. I say large amount because I'm not sure of the exact amount. First I found this post and then checked it out a little myself and it looks true.

It's either that or there is a new post in that thread that wasn't there before you visited it last time.

They list the threads that have over 100 posts I believe.

Not sure on that though, but none of them I saw had less than 100 replies

I can confirm that 201 posts is the number, because I've seen several of my own threads get the black bar at that point.
There seems to be an alternative route via flags; the number may be 51.
