Vice Premier Ya'alon says Mideast can't be secure if Tehran seeking nukes; US, Israeli officials hold strategic dialogue.

www.jpost.com...

Well, talk about a hypocrite. Israel a nation with a mass undeclared nuclear arsenal are teaming up with the United States who are the only country to actually use nuclear weapons on another country in more "dialogue" to keep the peace in the Middle East.

There is no way to secure the Middle East as long as Iran pursues nuclear weapons and engages in terror, Vice Premier Moshe Ya’alon said on Thursday.

Hey Moshe, there is no proof that Iran is actually seeking nuclear weapons, and your country (Israel) is the ring leader when it comes to terror in the Middle East. Let's just forget your assaults on Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria over the last few years and focus on the Iranian nuclear scientists who have recently been murdered. It takes a lot of audacity for an Israeli politician to accuse another nation of participating in terror considering Israel has a long history of terrorism starting but not limited to the Lavon Affair

“Without confronting the Iranian regime, there is no way to stabilize Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, Syria and Lebanon,” he said during a speech in Jerusalem at a conference organized by The Israel Project.

So this knucklehead is stupid enough to blame the instability in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, Syria and Lebanon on Iran?

Give me a break buddy. Afghanistan and Iraq weren't the perfect example of a great nation before the US led invasions that were based on the lies of 911 and WMD's, but to blame the current situation in these countries on Iran is absolutely ridiculous.

Bahrain has absolutely nothing to do with Iran, Lebanon is rather peaceful except for the lingering threats coming out of Israel who are preparing for war with Lebanon (which they are blaming on Syria).

Senior IDF officer: Israel is preparing for the next Lebanon war

The whole Syria fiasco cannot be blamed on Iran either, is he trying to tell us that Iran is the FSA?

Israel really needs to work on their propaganda techniques because they haven't been very effective as of lately. Even the fools who usually buy into these lies are starting to question the smoke and mirrors coming out of Israeli media.

Ending the Iranian threat, Ya’alon said, “is a challenge for the stability of the Middle East and the entire world. By one way or another a nuclear Iran should be stopped.”

IMO it would be much safer for the world if a nuclear Israel were to be stopped.

Samson Option

He added that Iran should feel as if it has to choose between continued pursuit of its nuclear program or its survival as a nation.

Oh great, more threats from the peaceful nation of Israel

Tehran’s nuclear program should be halted by “a joint international regional effort since it does not threaten only Israel but the entire region,” he said, “and aspires to be a hegemonic power in the region and then a world power.”

These measures should include isolation and sanctions as well as support for forces in Iran that support democracy, modernization and freedom, he said. There must also be a “convincing and credible military option as a last resort,” Ya’alon added.

In other words, Israel wants Uncle Sam to fight it's battles. It's funny how Israel who is the true threat to the region continues to play the victim when they are clearly the aggressor.

I keep hearing how a nuclear Iran would be a threat due to the religious extremists within it's upper ranks but Israel is also a nation full of religious extremists in it's military and political structure.

Mutiny fear in Israeli army as religious Zionists gain influence

The world needs to wake up to the reality that Israel is a terrorist nation who's creation was based on lies and deceit and they continue to practice these lies and deceit to achieve their goals.

Go ahead and label this "just another bash Israel thread" but please at least acknowledge some of the content and try to refute some of what I have said.

Chants of Anti-Semite from the usual Israeli boot lickers will not be acknowledged so don't waste your time or bandwidth.

The terrorist state of Israel needs to learn it's role.

Lies upon lies can only accumulate for so long until the whole # bag decides to burst.

There isn't enough toilet paper on this planet to clean up the mess that Israel is about to make.

The very notion that "Iran should be stopped" is what gets me everytime.
Stopped from what? Who have they attacked? Who are they currently occupying? Who are they currently funding? Who are they exporting weapons too? Why are they the bad guys again? I think the West has a lot more weapons, instigators, and occupiers in the region. Even if you believe the official story of 9/11, how many Iraqis, Afghanis, or Iranians were part of that supposed group?

North Korea is ahead of Iran in their development, what did we do about that? India and Pakistan developed their weapons right under our nose, perhaps even with our cooperation, what did we do about that? Israel has our weapons at their disposal, what are we doing about that?

Its disgusting.

In the context of Iran being a threat, I've posted the NDAA for next year already but take these quotes, and appreciate what it means-

Preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear
4 weapon is among the most urgent national security
5 challenges facing the United States.

(8) Nevertheless, to date, diplomatic overtures,
21 sanctions, and other non-kinetic actions toward Iran
22 have not caused the Government of Iran to abandon
23 its nuclear weapons program.

(b) DECLARATION OF POLICY.—It shall be the policy
4 of the United States to take all necessary measures, in5
cluding military action if required, to prevent Iran from
6 threatening the United States, its allies, or Iran’s neigh7
bors with a nuclear weapon.

THIS IS NDAA LEGISLATION FOR 2013!

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to put these quotes into context. The Zionists (Israeli lobby) have convinced enough politicians in America that their policy is the right path. They have convinced America that Iran having a nuclear weapon will be a national security threat to America, that diplomatic solutions no longer apply as policy, and that America must prepare for war.

It doesn't matter that Iran is not a threat, whatever you believe doesn't matter, because they are outright preparing to deal with Iran militarily, whether the justifaction is warranted or not!

The only thing Iran is guilty of, just like Iraq was (been neutralized and controlled now), is their oil production and reserves.

The oil mafia in the US supported by the US corporate dictatorship can not have Iran oil run free and abundant because that will cut in the obscene profits and global control they have.

Saudi Arabia as long as it plays by the rules of the US oil mafia have nothing to fear, but we know that Saudi Arabia is a feudal monarchy and all their profits goes to the house of Saud.

US have not problem with that. screw the people and control the wealth.

I agree with everything you just said. If they were worried about the real threats they would be going after North Korea, or would have put a stop to the Indian and Pakistani nuclear programs since those two neighbors possessing nuclear weapons is a very volatile situation that we allowed to happen.

Iran hasn't done anything other than protect it's interests even while they are being constantly attacked by all angles including sanctions, assassinations, and threats of war...and they still keep a calm demeanor.

Disgusting indeed.

Follow the money...

or the oil I should say.

I agree with your observation on the oil reserves that US/Israel would love to have, but I also believe that their plans with Iran and Syria have strategic reasons as well. Once they have the Iranian and Syrian regimes toppled they will have a monopoly over the Middle East since all the other countries in the region are already bought and paid for by the corporate elite who are pushing for these wars.

Exactly for some reason independent thinking and for the people governments are a danger to the powers running the corporate world.

Hell no, government that are for the well of their people can not be allowed, keeping nations indebted and their populations enslave is the goal.

Hey Moshe, there is no proof that Iran is actually seeking nuclear weapons, and your country (Israel) is the ring leader when it comes to terror in the Middle East.

You're looking at this the wrong way. The burden of proof is on Iran. They are required to satisfy the IAEA in accordance with the NPT and Iran has failed continuously to do so.

A senior IAEA expert team is returning from Iran after two days of discussions with Iranian officials held on 20 and 21 February 2012. The meeting followed previous discussions held on 29 to 31 January 2012.
During both the first and second round of discussions, the Agency team requested access to the military site at Parchin. Iran did not grant permission for this visit to take place.

Intensive efforts were made to reach agreement on a document facilitating the clarification of unresolved issues in connection with Iran's nuclear programme, particularly those relating to possible military dimensions. Unfortunately, agreement was not reached on this document.

"It is disappointing that Iran did not accept our request to visit Parchin during the first or second meetings," IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said. "We engaged in a constructive spirit, but no agreement was reached.

The fact that they did not allow inspectors into the Parchin facility does not qualify as proof of Iran seeking nuclear weapons. It may be suspicious, but it's not proof.

In fact, the previous IAEA report from last year was nothing but "could be" and "maybe" and "perhaps". Nothing was concrete and does not prove that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons.

You're looking at this the wrong way. The burden of proof is on Iran. They are required to satisfy the IAEA in accordance with the NPT and Iran has failed continuously to do so.

Actually you are the one who is looking at this the wrong way. There is no burden of proof on Iran. They have the right to deny inspections of facilities if they wish to do so once they are unfairly sanctioned. They at least have the "politeness" to sign the NPT. Meanwhile nations like Israel will not allow inspectors. Yes I know they are not signatories to the NPT, but let's be logical here.

Do you honestly believe that Israel a nation with a large nuclear arsenal who has teamed up with the only nation on earth to actually use nuclear weapons (The USA) have the right to bully Iran about their nuclear ambitions?

Where do you find this moral high ground which you stand on?

Another bash Israel thread?

I would also like to add that the Parchin facility is a military installation. Perhaps you forgot, but there were several explosions at Iranian installations a few months before the February 2012 IAEA visit.

Also, as soon as the previous IAEA report was leaked Iranian scientists started getting assassinated so Iran was only being careful and limiting access to secure installations. It seems that the more Iran cooperates, the more suspicious "accidents" continue to occur.

The intel that was used to assassinate the last Iranian scientist is said to be derived from the previous IAEA report so I don't blame Iran for being extra cautious going forward. Their cooperation has been met with nothing but deceit and lies.

This announcement was priceless:

Israel's president sends message of peace to Iran

Send a message of peace with threats of war

Surely you must see what kind of corrupt liars we are dealing with here.

You’re missing the point. The burden of proof is on Iran. They have agreed to allow access and they have broken this agreement, therefore the presumption of guilt is assumed. Besides, they have been caught working to achieve weapons numerous times.

In November 2011, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors rebuked Iran following an IAEA report detailing how Iran had undertaken research and experiments geared to developing a nuclear weapons capability. For the first time, the IAEA report outlines, in depth, the country’s detonator development, the multiple-point initiation of high explosives, and experiments involving nuclear payload integration into a missile delivery vehicle.

They willingly signed the NPT in exchange for nuclear energy production. They ARE obligated to allow inspectors in. You are incorrect and you are misleading people.

I'm not advocating Iran to possess nuclear weapons as it would cause more instability in an already unstable region. My best advice is to disarm Israel of their nuclear weapons. That would create much more stability in the region and the world.

That being said, I would not blame Iran if it did decide to seek nuclear weapons as a deterrent.

You seem to think that the "nut jobs" in Iran are hell bent on fulfilling some type of prophecy, but you forget to acknowledge the Zionist extremists I mentioned in my OP so I will link it for you again just in case you missed it.

Mutiny fear in Israeli army as religious Zionists gain influence

Israel has just as many nut jobs, including in it's upper ranks so it's unfair to only portray Iran as group of extremists, even though most of the stuff we hear about the Iranian extremists is Western propaganda. Unfortunately this PR campaign against Iran has become very successful.

Some of you seem to think that Iran is a thread to world peace, but many others aren't buying into it.

Europe for example:

European Poll: Israel Biggest Threat To World Peace

a new poll commissioned by the European Commission show that Israel is believed by Europeans in 15 countries to be the greatest threat to world peace, greater than North Korea, Iran or Afghanistan. While the European Commission will release the full results of the poll on Monday, the International Herald Tribune reported that the 7,500 people polled living in the European Union (500 in each of the 15 E.U. member states) were presented with a list of 15 countries and asked if these countries present a threat to world peace. Shockingly, Israel was rated first.

It's ridiculous because the US (and Israel) have been claiming Iran will have nukes soon (TM) for over 25 years now!!! And guess what, no evidence has presented that they in fact have nukes.

As for the inspections, I wonder how the US would react if Iran requested access to their nuclear facilities

There is NO EVIDENCE that Iran is building nukes!!!

And guess what, even Israel admits that: LINK

Hell, even the Israeli congress is against an attack, it's only those hardliner religious nutjobs that push for it

And guess what, the same guys who claimed Iraq has WMDs are now saying the same about Iran. Notice a trend? How about you go check who pays those guys!! It's the oil and defence industry

So FACTS MATTER, and entering a war (once again) based on nonsense is STUPID. Plus, the US can't really afford it in the first place.

Also, if as some US politicians claim, Iran has been trying to get nukes for over 25 years...don't you think they would have succeeded by now?? It's not that hard to buy them:

Especially if you have 25+ years and a TON of money to do so

You know I will not be so happy to depent on the IAEA to enforce any safety regulations in other countries.

Widespread Corruption at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

A true story, which explains in detail the nature and modus operandi of the Organization, and extensively demonstrates that the following two statements by Mr John Bolton, the former US ambassador to the UN (who together with Mr Colin L. Powell and later also Ms Condoleezza Rice, former US Secretaries of State, already since 2004 wanted to oust Mr Mohamed ElBaradei), are also true for the IAEA:

When you have an agency that even the US sees corruption and problems within, run by sex scandals and special interest, is hard to take them seriously.

Agendas are everwhere, Iran nuclear conflict of interest is just that interest as is not in their best.

“The US will use nuclear weapons against states, which have violated or renounced the NPT” (Barack Obama) - It is the job of the IAEA to denounce those states!

www.jm-rico.at...

Israel, according to Mr Mohamed ElBaradei, the problem no. 1 in the Middle East (it is already bad enough, that the US, which have caused the Middle East Conflict in the first place, are also the mediator in this Conflict! But it is still worse that the Arabs, who are the victims in this Conflict, recognize this mediation role to the US!)! It is well known that Israel's army is largely funded by the US. Therefore, it would not be surprising if it is known that it is the US that provided Israel with its nuclear weapons, or otherwise helped it to acquire them, thereby fostering the proliferation, it is ready to fight with the same weapons! This might be the reason why the US in this respect systematically vetoes year after year every “Resolution” against Israel in both the UN Security Council and the IAEA. Mr Yukiya Amano is well aware of this and of the fact that Israel has not signed the Treaty on the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and that, therefore, the IAEA has no right to investigate "Israel's nuclear capabilities"!

When US dictate who the IAEA is to inspect for proliferations of Nuclear weapons is an agenda, plain and simple.

US veto every year the UN Security Council on the Resolution against Israel nuclear weapons inspection we all know who is in charge here.

We cant get ANY information, out of Iran, because their Government and Media is State Controlled.

How does one get information, that is legitimate ? How can one take that country, as stable, when their own Elections, are marred in BS, and Death ? How can we call their country stable, where the people have NO voice?

Second, Israel has had Nuclear Weapons for a while now. Yes, extremists come in many shapes and sizes, but I haven't seen Israel use its arsenal, on Iran. Fact of the matter is this. Israel ISN'T going to use its Nuclear arsenal.

The World really doesn't need any more country's building these weapons. America and Russia are slowly phasing out their stockpiles, and many country's are giving up Nuclear energy too.
