Sorry, but prayer isn't going to save us from economic implosions, weather disasters, wars, famine etc. It just doesn't do anything. Haven't people
realized this by now? Think about it... if 'god' really cared about us so much, why would we have to ask to put an end to all the negativity in the
world? Should he care enough to do it without us asking? As a matter of fact, why does this negativity exist in the first place? Anyways, I don't want
to go off on a big rant here. The point being:
Prayer doesn't do anything.
You're right, prayer alone doesn't do much except change the mental state of the person doing it, the people observing them doing it, and the people
all participating together, which can then translate into changing actions the same way any focused thought and intention prior to action can and
When you add in the possibility of a collective consciousness above what what we can detect easily, then the doorway starts to open up to understand
how YOUR perspective may in fact be the very thing preventing the attempts of others to connect with the collective consciousness for the betterment
of our world to have a material impact.
Similar to how you may have multiple opinions on something, but the "strongest" one will win out. That doesn't mean it was right, and you would be
lying to us if you said your "strongest" opinions were never wrong.
If we have a collective consciousness, and a small minority who still remember how to tap into it can convince the *rest* of us it doesn't exist and
thus exert some significant power over what we *do* think about and "wish for" or "dream of" or "contemplate" or "meditate on" or whatever other word
choice you want to use to replace "prayer"... then you can see how your own assumption that you actually know jack squat about the world you live in
is part of the problem.
As your picture said: Deal with it. /hug and
