Yahoo Emails Accounts Hacked!

Sorry my hand slipped and this was entered at first... blank.

I was watching the news and several thousand Yahoo email accounts have been hacked.

That's not good for those folks at all. It's a good time to work on securing accounts linked to Yahoo email adresses.

I'm not happy about entering my email into a wabpage to find out if it's been compromised, why cant yahoo send me an email telling me if its been hacked?

Luckily its an old email I use only for joining forums etc.

This is a few days old.

It was Yahoo! Voice.
Not email.

However if you use the same password for your email account you should change it for sure.

Thank you for the added information. As I understand it Yahoo voice was hacked into in addition to the email accounts.

As for this news (being a few days old)...I just heard about this on the news today and I checked search and no one had created a thread about it.

Finally found this thread again. I put in Yahoo and Hacked in the ATS search and it was not coming up. I should have starred and flagged this thread earlier, just so I could have found it easier.
