A move in the right direction. Hopefully we will see an end to thimerosal based vaccines or at least an informed consent which makes individuals aware of side effects before choosing whether or not to provide them for themselves or children.

WHO made its disclosure before the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) where it met unprecedented resistance to its defense of the use of neurotoxic mercury in vaccines. "This is a huge development," says CoMeD's Vice President, David Geier, while speaking at UNEP's INC4 meeting.

INC4 met June 27-July 2 in Uruguay, to negotiate a global treaty on mercury. CoMeD and other nongovernmental organizations who participated strongly opposed the use of mercury in human medicines. More importantly, entire continents and many individual nations expressed their desire for mercury-free vaccines.

It is good to see there is still some common sense left in this world. The WHO still has a lot to answer for as it has become a front for the corporatocracy, but at least the rest of the world is waking up to it and taking a stand. The use of Mercury in vaccinations has been my biggest concern with them. Next is the quality of the studies and statistics that goes into measuring vaccination effectiveness, due to the conflicts of interest building from consolidation of resources. It is quite clear how the profit incentive has damaged the reputation and integrity of many industries.
