i have a bad feeling .. many reason to cut this very important tunnel

They wouldnt deploy such amount of emergency trucks for nothing
and by closing such important tunnel in the rush hours of the week can have grave economic consequences

A threat is just a threat. I'd like to see where something actually happened after a simple threat. Besides what we see in Hollywood movies of 100 million demanded to be transferred into a Russian bank account....

People overreact to threats all the time. Someone that threatens is only looking for a reaction. Someone with intent does so without warning.

With the shape poor Detroit is in, if I were Windsor Ontario I might think about sealing myself off from it. If someone actually did plant a bomb though, what's the point of the anonymous threat? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

I'm from Detroit originally, and have taken the tunnel many times. I can't imagine being in there if something DID happen.....

May or may not be a genuine threat or false flag....but I bet it will be used in some way as an excuse to tighten up border security between Canada and the US. Especially with all the recent news article indicating terrorists assembling in Canada for US attack.

I'd like to ask CNN for a correction though, it is not the 'Detroit-to-Ontario Tunnel' it is the 'Michigan-to-Windsor' tunnel.

People aren't stupid these days, one could create a false bomb threat to divert the attention away from what is really happening at a different location. Food for thought
