I really love ixquick, one of the safe ways to search the net in this era of big brother.

But I just tried to load their search engine page, and this came up:



I think it quite ironic that internet explorer is attempting to tell me that ixquick isn't safe. Does anyone else see the irony?

Why are you using IE?



ETA: and as a side note, I have "startpage" as my homepage over on IE (though I rarely us IE, I do have to have it to open certain programs for work) and I've never encountered a program loading...

Well I just bookmarked it, but, I'm on linux and firefox, and even there it came up with that security warning.

Sometimes it really is just a bad certificate. It amazes me how far people go to hate on Microsoft when Google sells you the NSA and Apple freely treats you like sheep.

Its because you need to update your security certificates. Goto their update page and you'll see them listed

dude, just use a vpn. there are many out there, free ones, paid ones..etc..
