This is also from Reddit:

I'm calling this a hoax by the OP. Here's my reasoning:

As lunchdump notes, Mr. Input's user name in the second note is a New Jersey phone number backwards, 1 (973)449-0222.

A search on Facebook (a better engine for this because FB often links numbers to profiles) reveals that the number is linked to the account of one Ali ******* who resides in New Jersey.

A google search of Ali reveals that he plays Magic the Gathering. Other redditors have noted that OP's username "delverofsecrets" is a popular MTG card.

A google search of Ali + delver of secrets comes up with this Facebook note shows that Ali has used 4 delver of secrets cards to place 3rd in an April 8th 2012 tournament.

EITHER THIS IS AN ELABORATE HOAX BY THE OP, OR SOMEONE THE OP KNOWS.

LOL, I was just thinking about last summer's cryptic sensation last night. Now 51 weeks later, we have The Homeless Cryptic. I swear, if this turns out to be some student(s) bored out of their gourd on summer break again...

It was fun while it lasted. It helped hone our skills in spotting the codes and clues that reveal the truth in the world around us...for better or for worse.

Hmm, sounds kind of like this book plot? Check it out...

Librarian Jane Kerry finds an envelope addressed to her left on her chair. Inside the envelope is a fifty dollar bill and a note that reads: Come and play with me. For further instructions, look homeward, angel. You’ll be glad you did.

That's obviously just a poorly written intro to a porn flick.

Maybe the $50 dollar bill was made up and this guy wrote it

It's one of those old code sheets where you need a template to read it. The template is a sheet of paper with square holes in it, place the template over the code and you can read it since the template only shows the letters you need to read it. It's impossible to read the note without a template, though.

Here also, chances are slim to randomly get some nerd who is skilled enough to figure out the code)

Maybe they did, maybe they didn't

A star for Curiouslyopen, well done on cracking the code and welcome to ATS!

Way over my head, I hate math or rather numbers. I gott'a say though, that makes two exceptionally fresh and entertaining threads this week here on ATS. Just when It was starting to stagnate.

Well no to wait until the given day and see what transpires. Curious how big a crowd it'll draw.
Another thing, I'll say I underestimated a few people here on ATS, but must now recognise their abilities.
I wonder if this concept has been tried by any retailers, you know, a game trick to acquire new customers ?

I never knew you had Grant on the $50 note. Now, going off the ATS standard operating procedure, if Poster X doesn't know something then it means it's not true (or else they'd know it).

Conclusion: There is no $50 note, and so no story.

I can read the word ЖИВ РАКЕТА or (zif raketa) the line before the last at the bottom. It means "Alive rocket".
Its in my language (macedonian) but Im pretty sure in all of the cyrilic languages the word rocket is the same. Not sure about the first word (Zif) though, it could mean something else in another language.
And at the last line at the bottom I can see the letters Ш , Б , Ф, Р or sh, b, f and r in western font.
Maybe it means something.

ShBFR is the initials of the 'Russian School of Brazilian Football'. Confused? So am I.

Ummmm... How the hell did you figure that out from looking at that code??

I'm officially confused by this whole thread...

26 letters on back is the key. Perhaps starting from A to Z with substitute letter in key sequence. The key maybe backwards or scrabbled.
