God wants so badly for us to believe that he exists, that's what he wants more than anything else is it not? So why doesn't he prove it himself? Why can't he let himself be known? He has everything at his disposal to prove it, yet he doesn't do it, why is that?

Prove Himself as in show Himself? God be Glorified! He has no need to show Himself to us or to prove Himself to us. But if you want proof, just look around you, the Heavens and the Earth and all things that He created, and yourself most of all, is enough proof that God exists.

God is free from wants and needs. Frankly it is us who needs him, and we should be thanking Him for every breath that we take instead of questioning His existence.

Using the quran to prove the quran is not a valid argument, sorry.

You say that god created man only for man to worship him? That seems a bit selfish don't you think? Why would an omnipotent, benevolent, and infallible god even require our worship? If he doesn't require it and forces it on us with penalty being us suffering for eternity, that seems to me like a cruel dictator, not a loving god. God would have no need for our worship if he indeed does exist.

She used the Quran to illustrate that God doesn't need us, that we need God. If you weren't so blinded by your hatred of all things "religious" I think you would have seen that instead of being so reactionary to what she posted.

Throughout Christendom, Protestantism was menaced by formidable foes. The first triumphs of the Reformation past, Rome summoned new forces, hoping to accomplish its destruction. At this time, the order of the Jesuits was created, the most cruel, unscrupulous, and powerful of all the champions of popery. Cut off from every earthly tie and human interest, dead to the claims of natural affection, reason and conscience wholly silenced, they knew no rule, no tie, but that of their order, and no duty but to extend its power. The gospel of Christ had enabled its adherents to meet danger and endure suffering, undismayed by cold, hunger, toil, and poverty, to uphold the banner of truth in face of the rack, the dungeon, and the stake. To combat these forces, Jesuitism inspired its followers with a fanaticism that enabled them to endure like dangers, and to oppose to the power of truth all the weapons of deception. There was no crime too great for them to commit, no deception too base for them to practice, no disguise too difficult for them to assume. Vowed to perpetual poverty and humility, it was their studied aim to secure wealth and power, to be devoted to the overthrow of Protestantism, and the re-establishment of the papal supremacy.

Pope Pius X, in his hatred of the Orthodox Christians, was continually inciting Emperor Francis Joseph of Austria-Hungary to ‘chastise the Serbians.’ After Sarajevo, on July 26, 1914, Baron Ritter, Bavarian representative at the Holy See, wrote to his government: “The Pope approves of Austria’s harsh treatment of Serbia. He has no great opinion of the armies of Russia and France in the event of a war with Germany. The Cardinal Secretary of State does not see when Austria could make war if she does not decide to do so now….” There, in true colours, is the Vicar of Christ [the pope], the gentle apostle of peace, the Holy Pontiff whom pious authors represent as having died of sorrow at seeing the outbreak of war. — Edmund Paris. One may say quite specifically that in 1914, the Roman Catholic Church started the series of hellish wars. It was then that the tribute of blood which she has always taken from the peoples began to swell into a veritable torrent. — Ibid, p. 48.

Thus we see that the pope realized that if Austria-Hungary crushed the Serbs, then the Serbs’ Orthodox Christian brothers from Russia would enter the fray. Then Germany, France and others would join in, and you have World War One. The papacy was thrilled to see Russia enter the conflict. Russia was predominantly Orthodox and the papacy wanted the Orthodox Christians in Russia and around the world annihilated.

The papacy’s Jesuits had another reason for being so happy when Russia entered the conflict. It was payback time. About 100 years before World War One began, Alexander I, the Russian emperor, kicked the Jesuits out of Russia.

The Russian emperor, Alexander, was currently compelled to issue a royal decree in 1816, by which he expelled them [the Jesuits] from St. Petersburg and Moscow. Five years later, Alexander was poisoned to death. The Czars were under Jesuit attack.

Alexander II broke all diplomatic ties with Rome in 1877 and even proposed a Constitution.

Alexander II had progressed well with his great reforms and had attached his signature to a Constitution to be adopted by Russia. Assumption of Mary
On November 1, 1950, Pope Pius XII promulgated the “Munificentissimus Deus” as divinely revealed doctrine that:

Pivarunas representing “The Religious Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen” states emphatically that, “Catholics do not, as Protestants falsely believe, worship the Blessed Virgin Mary.”[498] While a brief look around his website will convince most folks of how disingenuous that is, Catholic apologists engage in quite a lot of sophistry when they argue that Mary is not worshipped. They attempt to obfuscate their blatant idolatry by means of artificial and contrived distinctions. First, there is lateria, the sacrificial worship of God. This is a legitimate use of the Greek term, as latreia is used in Scripture for worship, ministry, or service to God.[499] Second, there is douleia which ostensibly refers to the worship of saints and angels. Both of these practices are explicitly condemned in Scripture (Lev 20:6; Col 2:18). But far above saints and angels they certainly do worship Mary. This constitutes the third category, hyperdouleia, which is the enhanced exclusive worship of Mary. Interestingly, the word douleia in the New Testament is always used for slavery, bondage, or subservience.[500] While enslavement seems particularly apt in this case, the superficial system of distinction only serves as a red herring for Rome’s apologists.

Mediatrix & Coredemptrix

Mary was given the title “Mediatrix” in the above cited bull “Ineffabilis” of Pope Pius IX, the same document that proclaimed her immaculate conception. In 2012, Pope Benedict XVI affirmed this blasphemy in the statement quoted at the beginning of this chapter when he referred to her as “the mediator of God’s blessing for the world.” Rome’s theologians argue it is an inference from her role in the incarnation of the God-man Christ Jesus. They further claim she had a role in His sacrifice on the cross to God the Father for the sake of the redemption of mankind. The majority of Romanists now position the imposter as “Coredemptrix,” implying that she is involved in the task of saving sinners. While savvy Catholic theologians are hesitant to sign on, the title is tacitly approved by the Catholic Magisterium.

According to a 1997 Newsweek cover story, Pope John Paul II had “received 4,340,429 signatures from 157 countries—an average of 100,000 a month—supporting the proposed dogma. Among the notable supporters are Mother Teresa of Calcutta, nearly 500 bishops and 42 cardinals, including John O’Connor of New York, Joseph Glemp of Poland and half a dozen cardinals at the Vatican itself.”[510] The Marian phenomenon has increased significantly since then and it seems the only reason the title has not been officially dogmatized is in deference to ecumenism. Today it seems the Marian phantasm dictates Rome’s new dogma as the pressure continues to mount for her official exaltation as “Coredemptrix.” In some circles, the Marian phantom is worshipped far more than Christ and this can be demonstrated to have evolved tactically. The poseur presents herself as the immaculate sinless Coredemptrix “Queen of Heaven” endowed with incomparable compassion for sinners. She beguiles would-be Christians with a feminine gentleness they find irresistible.

Marian apparitions appear all over the world affirming Rome’s unbiblical mythology. Every year, nearly 6 million pilgrims visit the site where “Our Lady of Lourdes” appeared to a fourteen-year-old girl in Lourdes, France.ÿ[516] The impressionable teenager, Bernadette Soubirous, was canonized as a saint in 1933, heralded as a mystic and was even given her own feast day on the sixteenth of April. Fátima, Portugal boasts nearly 5 million worshippers a year and controversy rages concerning the cryptic apocalyptic messages actual content. In war-ravaged Bosnia-Herzegovina, over 30 million pilgrims have visited Medjugorje since the apparitions began in 1981.[517] Even so, the “spiritual leader” of the six channeler children, a Franciscan monk, Father Tomislav Vlasic, allegedly impregnated a nun and then abandoned her for a new mistress at his Marian cult compound and is described by the press as a “modern-day Rasputin with a taste for sex and séances.”[518] Poland’s “Our Lady of Czestochowa” shrine hosts over 5 million travelers a year.[519]ÿ “Our Lady of Knock” in Knock, Ireland has been endorsed by four recent popes and draws millions to visit the “Apparition Gable.”[520] In Amsterdam, “Our Lady of the Nations” has demanded the pope declare her “Coredemptrix” with support of prominent Cardinals, bishops, priests, and thousands of devotees from over seventy countries.[521] While she heralds from Rome, the phantasmal dogma-matrix is not limited to Europe.

Mariolatry has a virtual stranglehold on Latin America as each year, some 15 to 20 million devotees visit a single shrine in Guadalupe, Mexico.[522] In Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, “Our Lady of the Rosary” draws one hundred thousand pilgrims each year prompting plans to build a Mystical City complex boasting a gargantuan statue of Mary said to exceed the statue of Liberty in size. The Puerto Rican faithful have been described as a cult whose leaders advocate extreme acts of penance such as kneeling on pieces of sharp corrugated metal during prayer.[523] In America, a chapel in Wisconsin where the entity self-identified as the “Queen of Heaven” in 1861 was approved by Rome as an officially recognized Marian site.[524] Accordingly, attendance has, “grown tenfold, growing from an average 75 to 100 visitors a day to between 500 to 800, including daily bus tours.”[525] In Conyers, Georgia, Marian channeler Nancy Fowler has received up to one hundred thousand visitors to her farm on a single day.[526] Emmitsburg, Maryland hosts the “Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes” attracting in excess of five hundred thousand per year and is referred to as a National Shrine and hosts Mount St. Mary’s University and Seminary.[527] These are a mere sampling; it is beyond the scope of this work to catalog the full scope of the cult. [Islamic Connection]

It just cannot be denied that the Marian apparitions appear to be leading the world down the primrose path to the prophesied one-world spirituality. For instance, the phantom-femme announced at Medjugorje, “Tell this priest, tell everyone, that it is you who are divided on earth. The Muslims and the Orthodox, for the same reason as Catholics, are equal before my Son and I. You are all my children.”(source: J. This 'moon god' link to Islam is pretty tenuous....if you want to get people thinking then I'd go more down the route of Muhammad fulfilling the criteria of being demonically possessed so therefore we can't trust what is written in the Koran is about God at all, but rather the jinn trying to set up a false religion for people to be led astray with. Also, the way Muhammad dies seems to show according to Allah that he was a false prophet...

You say that god created man only for man to worship him? That seems a bit selfish don't you think? Why would an omnipotent, benevolent, and infallible god even require our worship? If he doesn't require it and forces it on us with penalty being us suffering for eternity, that seems to me like a cruel dictator, not a loving god. God would have no need for our worship if he indeed does exist.

Yeah, that is kinda like using the Bible to prove the Bible, and we see a lot of that in here. The word "Worship" original meaning was "to work for," so, in effect, Enki and Enil and crew created us as a slave race, to work for them. Allah is no more a real God than Yahweh.

Um, the Trinity was not invented in Nicaea in the 4th century. They didn't vote to make Christ God, they voted on how to define His deity. Huge difference. The entire reason for the council was because a presbytizer named Arius began teaching that Christ was NOT God in the flesh but in fact a created being.

Sinai looks like nothing so much as the surface of the moon. So the theory says that the name Sinai derived from the lunar deity Sin. Early inhabitants, worshipping the Trinity: Sin (Moon), Shamash (Sun) and Ishtar (Venus) named the peninsular after the moon-god Sin.

God is One. We call God "Him" not "Them". All 3 we present at the baptism of Christ.
