Funny thing about this protest, people were saying that the media was reporting a wedding of some famous comedian instead of this! This is crazy that the media can be this controlled.

I don't speak spanish so you may need an interpreter to understand what they are saying, but the gist is they are pissed because of government corruption!

Thank you so much for fixing that. I am totally inept at this stuff!

Also, you are correct. I am nervous for these people, lets hope it stays calm and if not lets hope people record what happens! Lord knows the media won't!

They should be more pissed about the beheading's and drug cartel rather then corruption right now. Don't you think? Corruption would be 2nd on my list if they are trying to make a movement.

And that would be going after the corrupt Government that lets it go on wouldn`t it? Or am I wrong in thinking they don`t let it go on as I do.

It's just amazing watching people wake up all over the world. There's
definitely something in the air. In the US it must be chemtrails cuz...
meanwhile back in the United States folks continue to gobble Prozac,
guzzle beer and make bets on who's going to win on American Idol.

Lots of people jumping to correct the "blackout" claim, but let's take a look at the front page of MSM sites. No mention of Mexico on Fox, CNN, MSNBC... So here it's more of a brownout.

Are Mexican media outfits reporting on it? If not, it is a blackout.

The protest was on Saturday (7th).
I wouldnt expect the front page to be covering the story today.

I'm not sure if Mexican media is reporting on it, but my girlfriend's sister goes to UNAM in Mexico City, and she has been telling us about the protests since they started.

Mysanantonio is about the best coverage I can find of what's been happening in Mexico.

This article is from before the election but it sets the stage very well. I wouldn't vote for Nieto just based on the posted picture!!
