Dear ATS Friends,

If the media ever wanted to shut an actress up, it was Shirley Maclaine. Because many of you were too young to remember, Maclaine started speaking about things long ago that no one had ever dared to even whispher about. In her latest book, she finally speaks out about 9/11 and the NWO, territory she hadn't ventured to before and I post these quotes below. She's totally aware of the NWO and very suspicious of 9/11. I hope you will read this post and come to appreciate her role in being a front runner of the very things we discuss at ATS today.

She came out in the 1980's fully in support of the existence of UFO's--back when there was no Internet and no one was talking about these things. She's always had access to people we ourselves would love to question, including astronauts and the head of the Russian Space Agency, for example. She dared to ask questions about our existence, and about UFO's, and all of her ten books have helped to awaken millions of people, including myself--- some thirty years ago.

So please spare me the "she's a quack" comments. You may be too young or too ignorant to understand that she was truly a leader in the infancy of the New Age. She asked questions that no one else was asking. She traveled the world several times over, meeting with people like Mother Teresa, world leaders, and found herself in places like India, Peru and the Middle East. She has accumulated an immense amount of knowledge in her lifetime and had special access to people who answered her unwavering questions.

I always wondered what she felt about the New World Order, since she hasn't said a whole lot about it in writing. Her last book, however, is chock full of quotes about her feelings. Read on:

Regarding Obama and the New World Order:
"The whole world is show business now, and Obama is the prime example.....what would he be without a teleprompter? Who is he really? Does he want to be president of the planet, as some say his speeches seem to indicate? Was he chosen by the global banking elite in the world because he can be made to see so many differing points of view? Would he, in the last analysis, be in favor of a one-world currency and a one-world government? Does he have the tools to be a great unifier, or is he fated only to divide the country further? These are all questions that will never be answered by our current mainstream news organizations, but they deserve to be."

On UFO's:

"Through Vassy (a friend), I met Roald Sagdaev, the head of the Soviet Space agency at the time and was told that UFO's were documented fact, and that alien spacecraft had visited earth, and that a cover-up was in place so as not to alarm the human race."

On America and 9/11

"I feel the land of the free is becoming asphyxiated. People are so dumbed-down they don't even realize they aren't in charge of their own lives or thoughts anymore. Whether 9/11 was planned by people other than Osama Bin Laden, I don't know. But it was certainly conducive to the endeavor of dispensing with our individual freedom, which was supposed to be our inalienable right and the defense of which should be the primary reason we would ever go to war in the first place."

On Airport pat downs:

"For me, the searching of my bags and the patting down of my body is unconstitutional. ...fear is the most powerful weapon of mass destruction.....The idea of walking through an airport in a state of terror...is my worst nightmare. What has happened to us? We obedeintly cower in fear, hardly even made uneasy by the things that should really scare us. I don't believe that terrorism is the real reason we have become saluting robots. I believe we have neglected to see that terrorism is just a convenient excuse those in power use to gently instruct us to go quietly into that good night.... of being compliant and unrevolutionary citizens who willingly become subjugated to authority..."

On America:

"Thomas Paine has always been my idol. He wrote of the common sense of starting a revolution and praised the age of reason instead of religion...."

Many of you who are unfamiliar with Maclaine, might be interested in some of her books, which address UFO's, reincarnation, travel to Peru, out of body experiences, and the like.

Please visit Amazon for a list---and a synopsis--of her books.

Her book, "Out on a Limb" was the book that woke me up when I was twenty years old. It changed the rest of my life.

I've always enjoyed watching her performances...she is a very talented actress for sure.

But, I had no idea that she had written books on subjects so common place on ATS. I swear, the more I learn, the more I realize how little I actually do know.

I'm heading out of town next week for a short vacation, maybe I'll order a few of her books to read while trying to relax.

Thanks for info.

A fascinating lady and a class act,I've always loved watching her movies but I never read her books.I'll have to check them out.
Thanks for bringing her to ats,it reminds me that the subjects discussed here are not new it's just that more people are becoming awake and aware.

I have one question: how credible is this woman? Will her books and claims stand up to scrutiny?

Or will she be cast into the ranks of the infamous, forever ridiculed and then forgotten?

She's a kook....and I want to believe her. But just because she is a very famous actress doesn't mean that she can't go off the derp end.

I hold no value in her books and rantings.

Just an opinion.

Well, I guess we're all crazy then, huh? Hanging out at conspiracy sites, deliberating who shot Kennedy, whether Bush is a reptilian, believing in little green men and a whole host of "out of this world" thinking.

So, tell me. What books have you written? How many people have you awakened in your lifetime? Because calling those people who have nudged us out of our slumber "kooks" is so unbelievably hypocritical and unfair. If not for them, millions of the people in the world would still be asleep. People like Casey, Maclaine, and the very few who have been willing to put their reputations and careers on the line for the common good----they are heroes.

It's just so easy to call them "kooks" and they expect you to do it. They knew once they opened their mouths, there would be people lining up to degrade them and call them names. But they did it anyway, thank god. Takes a bit of courage, a lot more courage than it does to call them names. Fortunately, Shirley's "coming out" about the truth in the world hasn't stalled her movie career one bit.

People like you aren't able to see the repercussions of their bravery, how little by little they change the world. It takes someone with perception to see the bigger picture.

Ohhhhhh, you work in Hollywood and have met Maclaine? Big deal.

Five years ago I sat in her living room and talked to her for hours. I was on a retreat, someone in our group knew her and invited us over.

What a wonderful woman. What an amazing opportunity.

Not kooky at all----just her usual inquisitive and bright self---lighting up the room.

In the balance of things pal, she's opened the door for places like ATS to thrive.

She's opened more eyes than we can count.

But I'm just talking to deaf ears here. If you didn't already know that, then well......what's the point?

Thanks for the heads up on her new book..I think I read most of her books, with "Out On A Limb" being my first as well. I love Shirley she is truly the Mother of the New Age movement and she started me on a road to discovery that led me to investigate and study other religions and examine my own personal belief system.

She will always be important to me and I'm sure countless others for opening the door to new ways of thinking about our world, our beliefs and a challenge to possibly the way we think about them. I feel she made a significant contribution through her writing about topics that were taboo and thereby made it easier for everyone to be able to discuss topics that no one once dared touch.

Kook or not..I love her..SnF Cheers Coco

Ask MaClaine about J. Z. Knight, proven hoaxer who hooked the MaClaine nutjob in mid 90s.

Channeling Ramatha or some such crap.

LOL, well that would make reading her new book even more interesting if there's any truth to that review....no doubt Hollywood has been used to promote some "horrible" propaganda with sinister intentions.

What ever her past may have been, her heart seems in the right place to me at this point....and wisdom to be gained by her story.....
