Russia sends 6 landing ships with tanks to Syria, not connected to conflict

the distance of about 10,000 km from the base of Northern Fleet in Murmansk to Tartus could probably take ~ 2 weeks. The Northern fleet ships will be joined en route by ships from the Baltic and Black sea fleets to have joint drills in Mediterranean, and will take supplies in Tartus.

Why should there be 6 six landing ships tank carriers leaded by only one Udaloy class destroyer and some other minor ships? Does it have anything with the already announced possibility of evacuation of Russian citizens from Syria, or other plans?

Officially, it has nothing to do with the situation in Syria.
