No, if parents didn't yell at their kids when they were young everytime they tear off their diaper and run around butt ass naked, then there would be no shame. Parents transfer all kinds of irrational shames and such to their kids, a lot of them have nothing to do with religion.....

What does all this have to do with your supposed debunking of a theory again?

Too true, now I don't necessarily want a bunch of folks running around nude, but it is true that the shame of nakedness is an entirely learned behavior. Also I never did understand why Adam and Eve suddenly became ashamed of their naked forms. I get the whole tree of knowledge thing, but I can't imagine spending years with my wife walking around naked and then suddenly being embarrassed. Don't get it.

Ok buddy...... What does this chromosome have to do with it? Are you implying people that sunbathe in the nude at the beach here don't have it or something? There are plenty that go nude at my local beach. You make no sense.

As for the "shame", you know full well what I mean. In Genesis, it is the reason Eve and Adam covered up after they ate from the tree. I may be an agnostic, but I know my Bible well enough. It is what the Church teaches - sex is a sin, nudity is shameful etc..

And it isn't actually illegal in England to walk around naked in public, only if I make it sexual is it actually a crime. So other peoples (learned) shame is not my problem.

Trust me, public nudity is only a crime if there is an intent to "cause alarm or distress". The naked cyclist managed to get from Land's end all the way to the border with Scotland before getting harassed by the Law (it is against the Law in Scotland no matter what...)
