Can you elaborate a little more?

EDIT2: Now that I think about it, a few ISPs in my area and including mine went out the whole night.last night. Probably nothing though, but just throwing it out there.

Yeah, I didn't bother with the FBI website check, and our internet still works. My ISP never gave out any briefing about it.

Just fearmongering for no reason, no need to click on any dubious FBI link!

Since when have they cared about people or been in the I.T. game?!

Keep an open mind
Anything can happen the the next few weeks or months. Don't put a date to a happening. They could be preparing for it, or maybe not. Always consider both awnser and just let time awnser your questions.

Doomsday wouldn't happen.. Use fear to get people to go to "DNS check" sites... The DNS changer bot/worm in question was bundled with a ROOTKIT and cannot be removed without a wipe and reinstall... Sites can do nothing really to remove it realistically, only patch it... The gov sites want to put a program on your computer that puts a hole in your firewall that you could plow the titanic through..

The question is: What did the government put on everyone's computer... It certainly would be a convienient method of doing a DDoS attack on a country with limited pipes... Perhaps it monitors activity on line, or disables "troublemaker's" computers. Who knows. Big Brother is watching U..
