Will The Human Race Mature?

After i posted in the A&UFO forum something occurred to me. Will the human race ever mature?

Human nature is to take and to kill and the most basic to survive. Will we ever achieve world peace, i doubt it? Complete peace never! There are always some terrorists that are trying to put a stop to what peace there is now and what if we ever make space travel. Will we stop or we will conquer every other race until we or they are destroyed?

How can we ever become a mature race like alot of spiritualist (Not having a dig at them) believe when we haven't even gone through pubity as a race?

I totally agree with you. I dont think we can change but there must be some people that will argue the case against what we think.

I mean mentally as well as physically yes.

I didnt mean to say that it would be a spirtualist world i ment that all the spirtualist people i know and nk offence to them but they all seem to belive we will mature and join hands and dance brake down the race barriers and all that sort of thing, i just dont buy it.

Something in humanity will give, whether it is politically or socialy, the world is currently to different to mature, remember that humanity is fairly new compared with the historical time line of say the dinosaurs

give it time... there will be change but it will be slow and mostly harmful to factions of humanity

So you'r saying that we will stop hugging and danceing and mature. I think evolution is the perfect example we used to monkeys and kill other things then eventually we become home sapiens and we start killing each other and other things and then wecome modern man and guess what we'r still killing each other and other things exept now we have refined our killing abilites and can now kill lots of things at once. Look back to the saxions and we killed, the Romans, the Tudors, Cave dwellers since humanity itself was born we have killed each other. WE wont stop we will just get better at it.

This would make a good debate topic.

Ok have i missed something where does being president come anywhere in this subject.

I would:

1. Ban religions
2. Establish a world currency and abolish taxes
3. Execute all ex politicians or lock them up at Guantanamo
4. Genetically change all humans to look the same: color, height and weight
5. Research free energy sources
6. Release all secrets, of all governments
7. Impose the death penalty for every form of crime
8. Impose one language and one aphabet
9. Develop all under developed countries
10. Invest in space and dvance technologies
11. Invest in genetic research in order to stop aging and defeat cancer

UW you took the word straight out of my mounth

I think wisdom has a good idea for a perfect civilazation. will it evr happen, no!!! goood idea completely improbable.

Why dont you think it would ever happen Bear. What is it you like about Wisdoms ideas i am against them myself. No offence ment wisdom.

It will never happen because you'll be forcing people to ave only one choice. PLus there will always rebels and people that dont want to change from how it is now. Unless you could get future parents to teach their children a certain way and slowly evolve into this perfect civilazation.

Sure the Human reace will mature. Just as soon as at least 98% of global population has been destroyed, and the remaining 2% or so will finally realize they'll have to grow up or become Extinct....

One can say the human race was born different genetically or for the faith-inclined, that God made us all different, to be interesting. If we were all the same colour and height we would certainly all be bored of each other.

In order to answer the question of whether 'the human race will ever mature', one has address the person who questions it. This, based a preposition that whomever phrases such a question speaks on high moral ground. What needs to be abolished first is this fallacy and egotism that eventually lead to wars and despots.

The moment one realizes that we all make mistakes, then only can we call ourselves mature. For it is in this action, that all responsibilities and consequences prevail.
