what if your government was being mind controlled by aliens since roswell?

what if our government was being unknowingly controlled, slowly over the decades in the goal of destroying ourselves, this way theres no casulties from the otherside, because they know they would not stand a chance physically againest us, so they resort to this?

Although your theory is interesting, I think the human race is hard-wired for self-destruction, we have no need of outside intervention for that.

What if its been happening for as long as we have records?

Any civilization that can travel here from another planet has to be hundreds of years ahead of us in technology and would have many different ways of eliminating the human race.

What exactly is it that such an advanced race would want from our planet? If they'd stayed in their corner of the universe there wouldn't be a need to engage in war with them. So they either want or need something if they are indeed controlling our government. Whatever it is couldn't they have taken it by brute force or sneak attack back during the days of Roswell?

Nah, I don't believe it is as simple as they are controlling our governments to weaken us. Plus many nations weren't at the beck and call of the US in that day, anyway.

We have been waging war for thousands of years, i guess it will be the same for a thousand more

Need for money is what is controlling them. They have to try to get a reputation of pleasing their contributors. I doubt if aliens have anything to do with it. They also have to try to please enough voters to get elected and that controls them. Talk about a life of living on the edge.

Sure...why not. I personally think that we, humans, have been seeded on planet Earth. This puts the Aliens involved with us in some way or another, way before Roswell. If you look into mythology, bibliography, folk lore before written record. You'll find a myriad of references to possible Alien contact and intervention.in human history.

Then factor in the history not even discovered yet. The ancient civilizations even today being discovered. What mysteries are we going to unearth that points us in the direction of previous Alien presence on Earth.

Why would you think Roswell is in some way, the first, and only contact Aliens have had with the Human race.
