Shadow Canyon
Punchbowl Falls, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

I recognize it from my many jaunts in the Pacific Northwest area.

Here is a link to a photographer that has taken some cool pictures of the area: Punch Bowl Falls

After doing a reverse image search with tineye, it seems other other websites hosting the image agree with you.

I lived in the Portland area for many years and fell in love with the wilderness of the Pacific North West. A truly enchanting place. The gorge area is where i began my outdoor survival training at, The area reminds me of some of the less visited places in Japan, peaceful and uncontaminated by humans in some areas.

That's my back yard! How did you get that pic? Get off my lawn!

It's just left of my personal rainbow and off to the side of my unicorn pastures.

Peace

You are more than welcome, I hope you can have the opportunity to visit the area sometime, it is without any exaggeration, an enchanted place.

I have been to Hawaii, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Guam, Saipan, and several other pacific rim areas, but I must say the Pacific North West is an wonderland of undiscovered Nature.

Wow! Only on ATS can someone post a mystery and have someone post the answer in 7 minutes. And after 1:30 in the morning to boot! Sometimes you simply have to love this place.

So staggeringly beautiful it looks photoshopped. On the bucket list.

Mileysubet - thanks for providing the location.
