I'm not sure if it's been posted here before, but this is pretty amazing footage. Description from OP.

Saw these three lights hovering in the sky in the late evening, grabbed my camera asap. I'm not a UFO expert, so this could be a plane for all I know. Strange plane though if you ask me o.O

It could be weather balloons, chinese lanterns or flares. *saracasm*

So what do you guys think?

I'm wondering why they stopped filming it after a few seconds

Looks kinda fake to me, if it isn't fake then it is interesting...

I'm going with fake for now though, it would be pretty easy to do.

Edit: Yup fake, uploaded the same day the account was created. Not buying it...

Ummmmm.....

I dont have a youtube account.

With that being said, IF i did record something crazy in the sky. I would create a youtube account to post it.

Would that make it fake??

Doesnt make sense.

chinese lanterns or flares. *saracasm*

No need for sarcasm because that's what they look like , with some added FX jigerypokery thrown in .
Why only 38 seconds of footage , seems odd if these lights were really there to not continue filming for longer .

I live in Notts.. (engage Notts colloquialism)

Trust me, if owt like that had been going on round here we'd've heard more about it int street. Folk round here know everyones business, and the last time there were weird lights int sky it were on t'news. Looks like a reet load of bob t'me. Just sayin'
(disengage Notts colloquialism)

Seriously though, not heard of anything being seen since the whole ''lights over the council square'' thing a few years ago, and that was on the front page of the Nottingham Evening Post and on East midlands today for about a week...

do you have a youtube account?
i would guess at maybe 5% of ATS members having one
can you explain your reasoning that a video uploaded the same day the account was created, makes for a fake video? how else do you get it on youtube if you dont have an account?
should one wait 24/48 hours before uploading?
does this help give ones video a more 'authentic' feel?
i dont see the correlation, can you please explain?

You nailed it right on the head. Only 38 seconds of video? I would film until my batteries went dead....or my memory card ran out of space.

Making a youtube account just for a UFO video is totally plausible. For example, If I own a video gaming channel, I'm not going to upload a UFO sighting that I taped. I would make another youtube account just to upload that. Use your common sense.

Looks like someone captured a Chinese lantern and then used a bit of CGI to replicate it....easy enough to do using just photoshop.

As already mentioned if anyone were to legitimately witness this, you sure as hell wouldn't turn your camera of after less than a minute!

lol, Nice 'logic'.

for one, That doesn't make sense,
and two, I remember at least a few genuine "ufo" (not "alien", just unidentified 'things' in the sky that were really filmed and not faked) videos over the years that were uploaded to brand new YT accounts by people who caught something interesting on film and wanted to share it so they had to make an account.
Makes complete sense, really.
You think everyone has a YT account? lol

I think this vid. is probably to good to be true also,
if real, cool. If fake, pretty well done in my opinion. At least compared to soo many we see. lol
but who knows?
Nobody.

The phone could have been configured to limit the recording for an MMS message. I know if I spotted something like this, I wouldn't start fumbling with the settings, I would just want to capture the spectacle.

The are many reasons a video is short or cut-off mid viewing. I just don't think a short video should instantly invalidate a recorded sighting.
