Two rockets struck the Sheraton Hotel in Baghdad, and it is now on fire. Immediately following the strikes, "very heavy" automatic gunfire was
heard either in the hotel's lobby or just outside it. Video from the scene shows mild structural damage to the lobby area. No injuries have been
reported.
At this time, a suspicious vehicle has been found near the hotel. Officials are preparing to pre-emptively blow up this vehicle.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — An area outside the Sheraton Hotel in central Baghdad burst into flames Thursday night after several rockets were fired and loud
blasts were heard.
A number of rockets were fired at the Palestine and Sheraton hotels, both of which house journalists and foreigners. One of the missiles apparently
landed outside the Sheraton and was ablazem and there were early reports of the fire in the lobby.
The blaze began after three strong explosions shook the capital city. There was no immediate word of casualties or damage.
