The Mayan Calendar Ends in 167 days.

Anybody want to give me their things, such as their car and their house and their soul?

Well?

I think all this really means is the end of a time in history...and the new beginning of another time in history.

When December 2012 comes and goes and 2013 begins...I wonder what people will say then?

They'll just ignore it and place another end of the world date. And they'll come up with something in ancient times to support it and make a big deal about it.

Personally though, one of the things I've noticed about this is that the calendar they're all basing this on is a book. Most of the Mayan's books were burned by the Spanish Conquistadors. The reason why it ends is because it was part of a set of books, and I'd bet that if we had those other books, then you'd see the calendar going on.

And here's an article for you I just read today on the subject:

www.mayanpredictions.net...

It gives ten reasons why the world will not end, and mentions that the calendar resets itself at the end of each cycle, much like a modern computer does. Very similar to the y2k bug that everybody was afraid about in the year 1999.

First, no way anyone can interpret the Mayan calender. It is 1000's of years old. 2nd, Our world is 4 billion years old and has been inhabited many times. 3rd, even if by some miracle they could interpret what they think they see, time does not exist for it to stop. 4th, we will simply be recycled energy at the point of any occurrence. 5th, the only thing anyone can do is live life for today, do not fear tomorrow.

They call them predictions for a reason btw. many have come and gone without fruition. some get lucky, my premonitions have more of a chance of coming true.

just because they say they know what it means doesnt mean they know. it is open for interpretation. like i said doesnt matter what they think they know. they are just as likely to be wrong period.
