What would Americans fo if the U.S. decided to nuke Iran?

I expect there would be some lone protestors with signs, maybe even small groups.

However, the average American is just too lathargic to care.

They'll continue to sit on their couch, watching 300 channels of tv and drinking big gulp colas.

Now, of course, try and ensure that 30 million Americans have adequate healthcare, now THAT will get everyone fired up !

Surely they would, as the continued burning of coal and wrapping paper would cause the climate to dramatically change. This would cause sea level to rise, therefore the Strait of Hormuz would become wider, and Iran would have less "control" of the area.

I'm not even sure why they call it the STRAIT of Hormuz as it looks pretty crooked to me.

C'mon - hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of people throughout the country and across the world protested the Gulf Wars - do you not think that even more would actively protest a nuclear bomb being dropped?

The Iranian regime itself likes to play there own games and thats fine.
The clerics there and the revolutionary(dilussionary) guards there want power.

All we would have to do would be bomb there 1 oil refinery.
A majority of the country would all be walking within 7 days.

Theres a lot of people there who want change there and are fed up,the cleric dictatorship is dug in very deep.

Once Syria goes,Iran will be more cornered.

Sorry to float,but I dont think nuking Iran is not even on the drawing board.

If someone uses a nuke on us,,that I could play on,and there would no UN drama involved,just send a cable to them"we are at war"...no vote needed,thankyou anyways...

Walleyes are pretty old technology. We'd probably use JDAMs.

I dont accept the premise of the argument. It wouldnt happen without a valid reason.

I think some would be upset.

but I think more people would be upset at what would certainly be considered a total lack of compassion in general.

anyway...iran getting hit with the nuclear weapon by the US government is the least of its worries.

Liberals will do bong hits and complain.

Conservatives will toast shots with each other.

a Few Thousand people selectively targeted over the internet will show up somewhere for a demonstration and everyone will watch them get their heads handed to them by the cops on the news, the actual organizers will of course not be there when that happens

There would be some protests, not as much as should be, but the only time you will the American public strongly opposing any war would be if they reactivated the draft. Then we would be out in droves as it would really hit home then.
