Young boy records self in 1992 talking with his future self of 2012 (VIDEO)

A Conversation With My 12 Year Old Self: 20th Anniversary Edition

It's surprisingly entertaining... I can imagine if I had done something like this back when I was 12 it would be a whole lot of questions about possible Star Wars sequels and whether or not my Billy Beer can collection was ever going to amount to anything. Ah youth, too bad it's wasted on the young.

That made me chuckle!

Makes me wish that I did more as a child then stare at any camera with a sense of debilitating stage fright that was aimed at me.

That was great. Would be a really cool idea instead of burying time capsule stuff just to make recordings like this and and answer the questions in 20 years. Schools should get into doing this!

Brilliant!

Reminds me of when I used to record me talking to my future self on a dictaphone when I was really young...although I didn't have the patience to wait 15 years to talk back to myself, it was more like 2 minutes

That was very cool, very clever.

Makes me wonder though, what happened to him ? He had so much spunk and vitality as a 12 year old.

Does getting older do that to us ? Drain us of life-force !

Thanks for sharing

This video was obviously faked. But I love the premise! Therefore, I think this is one of the most inspirational comedy skits to ever hit the internet. Seriously, this guy should be writing for one of those dried-up dust bunnies that milks its jokes out of every other successful comedy it happens to run into at dinner parties.

I count this a worthy waste of my time.

This video was obviously faked.

Why would you deem it necessary to call this 'obviously fake'?

No I think I'm pretty sure this man WAS talking to his 12 year old self in some type of time/space vortex.

ETA; very cool vid though. I remember being twelve and making radio station broadcasts with my freinds. I don't think any of us (or parents) actually had a camcorder yet.

Guy is only 32? Damn he looks like 42 lol.

Life is so short... 1992 wasn't very long ago. I was 2 then.
