So how does this work?

It's not the newest upload because Katherine Mcphee was only 8 hrs ago.

It's not even close to being the most viewed. 8 million for the first vid and 3 million for the 4th in line. The Israel vid has 35,000.

Upload date? No...try yourself. Many before that one.

Relevance? Give me a break!

Any ideas?

Something just doesn't seem right...?

Peace

ETA: Just noticed I posted this in the Grey area. Never posted here before and always thought the forum was for WTH? postings.

Mods, you know what to do.

Peace

Did you not notice the highlighted words?

"National Anthem"

It's not using an exact match, but all common combinations. It also has references to the US in it.

but I see the job's been done, comments there are already from people here. Ha ha. I guess Jewtube did it again, huh!

I didn't read the YT comments because I kinda knew what I'd find...

Found the info on another site as I was cruising and did the check myself.

Have to admit tho, it is surprising and one hell of a coincidence.

Great piece tho...good listen.

Peace

when i tried it, the israeli anthem was top of the list.

i like how when you type in welsh national anthem you get rugby and tom jones.

i think it's just a case of all search engines being a bit crap.

Implying that YouTube isn't secretly run by the government.

honestly I find that weird because usually you never get a video that's a day old like that.
notice how the first video says 6 years ago. I think you're onto something. and since when would that kind of video pop up when you explicitly typed in US. it's weird how only the words National Anthem were enough to propel it to the top like that infront of legitimate US anthems lol.. just sayin

I wish I could like Israel.
it's people are like us. it's government isn't like ours.. it is ours..

It must be based on national pride, because i tried Australian ,Latvian ,Russian,Israeli,Phillipine and they were all in order.Although it may be something to do with the Gunners (they still around?) Assumed popularity based results?

Haha I only read one comment from about 1 hour before I posted that was saying "I searched for ..." pretty much what you said..

It's google too, don't forget, they can have their search engines twisted.. Remember when you used to be able to type "george bush" in google and have it return as the first hit titled "miserable failure".

If you put "US National Anthem" in quotes, it doesn't seem to list the Israeli anthem.. I tried national anthem by itself to see how skewed it might be, but mostly us national anthems and something called lana del rey singing..

google/youtube search is bested only by ATS search lol

It's because "US" is also recognised by the search engine as a pronoun in addition to the acronym for United States. If you do a search for "USA anthem" you will find no video link for the Israeli anthem on the first page.

Nice try, though, OP.
