That would explain it perfectly, if the thing does indeed exist underwater. Someone else posted a thread recently about ancient structures that look pretty similar to that undersea thing.

In the area of Doggerland?
Hardly.
It's hundreds of miles away some 60 nautical miles from nearest land between Sweden and Finland You may as well claim that this explains Atlantis. It's absurd.

Doesn't mean it can't be some other man made structure that sank beneath the waves when sea levels rose.

We will have to wait and see.

As noted, Doggerland refers to an area in the southern North Sea that was dry land at the end of the last ice age, before becoming submerged by ~8ka. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the Baltic - where the isostatic history is somewhat different, and quite complicated

www.geo.lt...

Overall, the land there is in fact still rising after the last ice age, although there may have been a brief period where the Baltic Sea structure was above sea level

Where the "UFO" was found, doesn't mean it originated from there. It may well have drifted on the sea bed, over thousands of years.
The point is, that area was one massive land base and inhabited. thousands of years ago That make the object being man made far more probable.

I can't see how it would have moved, since it's shape is unchanged and appears to be made entirely of heavy rock. Unless it's a stone circle that got covered over with sediment.

I had the same thought when I read that Doggerland thing.. I know the Baltic Sea isn't directly connected. But err, maybe the same deal?

But still, the Baltic Sea anomaly still does not have enough data to eliminate a natural origin. The Ocean X team are being quite selective with the data they release.

If the equipment went "Haywire" then how did they film this "Up close and personal"

www.youtube.com...

Don't believe the hype.

If the equipment didn't go haywire then why did they write this?
They have some links too.
I don't know about hype...It either happened or it didn't.

It's ALL hype for what could be a uniquely shaped stone, like seeing Jesus in a pizza crust.
Glad there are crazy, dedicated people out there willing to do the legwork.
Not sure WHO is spreading stories anymore.
Just waiting to hear something I can believe.

UFO at the bottom of the Baltic Sea disables electrical equipment

Daily Mail reports Hogerborn is quoted as saying: "Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object. And then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again, and when we got back over the object it didn’t work." Read more: www.digitaljournal.com...

Actually, if you look at the maps of Doggerland, there would only have a been a narrow opening between Denmark and Norway, meaning much lower sea levels (as the North Sea didn't exist at this point).

This new info certainly raises the prospect that the area where this object was located was once above sea level. However, it isn't confirmation of anything in its own right.
