yeah, if you're going to come at it from a place of judgement and "warning" as you put it, then hell yes, you have to be specific that you aren't crapping on 1.57 billion people.

Otherwise, you seem very hatefull, instead of being helpfull like your intent was.

You first said to me in the thread that my OP was 'a ridiculous notion' despite me posting several examples of women around the world being forced by violence to cover up....in addition you also knew of my experiences. Now I quote your next comment...

'Same goes for these women. As long as they are making the concious choice to be a part of this movement or religion, then I have no issues. Only when coercion and violence comes into play do I start feeling like a I Have a responsibility to fight it.'

So you contradict yourself. You dismissed my thread as ridiculous but at the same time claim you do actually think women being forced to cover up is bad. Where is the sense in that? What problem do you have with me writing about my experiences and cross referencing them with the experiences of other women in other muslim areas in Europe and around the world? You seem to find that objectionable.

I was not abused by individuals but by a community. The community acted as one body and it successfully eliminated what it saw as waste product. My experience is not unusual....what happened to me has happened and is happening to people in muslim ghettos. What are non-muslims to think when that happens to them thanks to muslims when it's never happened to them before by other minorities? Are they supposed to carry on the politically correct stance of believing it had nothing to do with what books people read, what schools they go to, what their religious leader instills into them, what their peer pressure encourages them to do, what their family talk about at the dinner table......are they to assume it's just due to 'bad people'? Isn't that not only stupid but wreckless?

It is treating the lives of others like you who will follow in your footsteps with total wrecklessness.

The important point is not the one you have homed in on......whether absolutely every single muslims is sexually depraved or would help to cleanse the unwanted out of a muslim area....but whether or not all these muslim ghettos prooduce the same characteristics in their inhabitants? My answer is that yes, they overwhelmingly do.

dear TheFogHorn,

I might be off-topic, and it's especially risky to fool around when a mod is sitting on the thread, but what the heck.

TheFogHorn, you do have a vitally important issue that isn't being discussed enough. I've come to the conclusion that, on ATS at least, you have to be more than right, you have to sell the idea. Use the language the audience understands and already accepts. Be nice to almost everyone, even the jerks. Don't get "over the top" emotional. Watch how your audience is reacting and adjust accordingly.

Feel free to disregard those suggestions, but give them a thought for a second.

With respect,
Charles1952

It's not easy when you have to put up with being called a racist, a bigot, ridiculous, hateful, etc...

I think most women who have experienced what I've experienced would also be a bit forthright and headstrong. There's no debating the issue when you know what you've experienced and suggestions you're lying or just saying it because you're hateful is like adding insult to injury. But I understand that's often how outspoken victims are treated.

Here's another one of the likes of me......nasty woman who is only doing what she's doing because she's nasty....

www.youtube.com...

A victim of abuse does not receive training in how to go about letting people know. This has got to be the worst area in which to be a victim because the odds are stacked against you being believed and for people to amend their thinking because we in the West have been indoctrinated by people far better trained at being effective manipulators of thought. I'm talking about Marxist political correctness....the pervasive mind warp that makes people hate victims of sexual harassment and do what they can to silence them.

I'm not an expert at being influencial. I'm just honest, experienced and outspoken.

Dear TheFogHorn,

There's a lot about you I admire. Your passion, your strength in bouncing back from attacks, your willingness to share yourself. All wonderful. Despite all that, and a clear and powerful message, many in America and on ATS don't see this as a significant or pressing problem.

Why is that? What have you heard from people when they just dismiss this issue? I suppose I'm asking what their thinking is on the subject.

Is it your experience that people think the two cultures will be able to live together peacefully? That if Muslims see enough of our culture, they will start respecting women, allowing the same freedoms we have, and taking down their Osama Bin Ladin posters?

With respect,
Charles1952

Hello Charles,

I admire you too

Most of us are lemmings. Most of us won't care about something unless it directly affects us. Most of us would rather engross ourselves in trivial matters than deal with the elephant in the room. Most of us don't like talking about difficult things. Most of us would rather sweep problems under the carpet and leave them for someone else to deal with once we're gone. Many of us don't even care that much about what world our kids will live in after we've gone.

Well, I'm not most people.

I think that what is happening in Europe is very different to the immigration story in the US....so far. Up until now, immigrants in the US have mostly become American in citizenship and character. That has also happened in Euopre with most immigrants but not with enough muslims. Too many muslims have chosen and are choosing in increasing numbers to settle within very distinct muslim areas and to make those areas little Islamism zones. There are no signs of Westernism, the police do not enter and the law is Islamic. I believe that the US will start to see such zones soon...maybe you already have some but these things do not get reported on very often. If you don't go looking then you won't know about them.

My message is quite simple......wake up and start to watch Europe via blogs and independent websites as well as MSM. What happens in Europe will happen in the US because muslims, as history shows, operate in the same way wherever they go.

All the best from over here,

Fog
