But you're begging the question. Just because there is meaningful symbolism doesn't mean it was consciously placed there. The conscious mind is not in charge of the psyche, even though it likes to think it is. Extremely deep meaning can be placed in art by non-ego aspects of the psyche (the "Muse").

I dont see how hidden symbolism and stealthed meanings,that are hiding in plain sight,could be accidently placed into films? when every part,every scene and every word spoken is so intentionally planned out and carefully staged...

I only read the first two pages, but just in case nobody mentioned it, the whole movie was shot in "Seaside" down on Hwy 98 along the Florida panhandle. The city is real, and it looks exactly like it does in the movie, and it is beautiful! It is a great tourist spot in case someone wants to take a vacation down on a beautiful beach and explore Truman's town. It isn't a movie set, it is a real town. Very cool little place to visit.

It's not accidental, its placed there deliberately. But it's not placed by the conscious mind of the artists. It's placed by autonomous non-ego parts of the collective unconscious (archetypes). In other words, by the "Muse" or by "God" or whatever. Very often, the artists are just unwitting vehicles for transpersonal meaning. Very often, artists will discover layers of meaning in their art that they didn't know was there when they were making it.

I think that people give Hollywood far too much credit.
