Pavement lyrics on the firehose? Excellent band. One of the pioneers of indie. Slanted and Enchanted is an excellent album. I remember Zurich being my fav.

Why are all these bands so bloody musically boring?
Because they cant really play their instruments!

Ha! Pavement is not a "technical" band by any means, no. Boring I suppose is subjective but I disagree.

I see the appeal...the musicians aren't too bad, of course, not technical like stated last post.

It's got soul but my god, wasn't there anyone in the band that had a better voice?
If this was live, drunk, tired and hot the vocals could pass but this is a recording...myeah
