i purchased nematodes at my local garden center. we use them to eliminate grubs from the lawn. the grubs were eating the grass roots, killing the lawn in the process. the nematodes are mixed with water and poured onto the lawn. the nematodes eat their way into the grub and kill it.

now, after reading the article, i don't feel so well.

I was once 'a walking mushroom', having candidiasis (overgrowth/invasion of candida albicans).

I waged war on the little blighters physically and mentally for six months by -

1. Starving them - no sucrose, fructose (or anything 'ose'!), and by avoiding all carbohydrates other than green veg.

2. Killing them by injesting herbal fungicides (whilst mentally saying 'die you ba****ds')

3. Outnumbering them by injesting copious amounts of beneficial gut flora (live yogurt).

The war was won - and I lost any 'sweet tooth' I had - sugar addiction gone.
