So let me see if I got you right. Both Reagan and Obama performed deficit spending, but the difference is that Reagan conducted "strategic spending" vs. Obama's "spending money." I get it now (note sarcasm).

Get out of here with this a$$ backward logic.

Reagan cut the top marginal rate from 70% to 28% and boosted business deductions (libs call that spending money). That led to short term deficits and long term growth and prosperity. Obama has spent trillions illegally bailing out business (his friends) and it’s led to higher deficits, higher unemployment, more people on food stamps, and more crony capitalism all at the expense of tax payers.

What don’t you get?

I could not have said it better myself! I keep reading posts where people beg for Americans to WAKE UP! But untill everyone realizes that the Left Right Paradigm itself is a scam we will get nowhere!

YOUR team just signed us all over to private corporations, no different than the Republicans who sell us to banks

The difference is we get a benefit from healthcare, while most people never benefit from what the Republicans do.

Thank you OP for trying to wake people up to the brainwashing in this country!

Pseudo intellectuals love to bash the left/right paradigm but they fail to acknowledge that the left (Obama, Reid, Pelosi et al) and right (McCain, Romney, Graham et al) that we are presented are not REALLY the LEFT and RIGHT but simply neocons (two sides of the same coin)!

There is a REAL RIGHT and that’s what the country needs IMO; Romney isn’t it and neither was Bush! Don’t fool yourself and think we’re all a bunch of idiots and you’re one of the few who sees what’s going on just because you don't know the difference between the GOP and conservatism!

Just as it was Republican Governor Mitt Romney that forced all citizens of Massachusetts to purchase health insurance from private companies as well. There are penalties to pay if you are not insured all year. In fact, Obamacare was modeled on the very plan Mitt Romney pushed here in Massachusetts. Now Mitt says it's a bad plan. Insurance rates continue to climb by double digits every year. You have no freedom of choice when it comes to doctors or medicine (alternative health care options are not covered). It's not about right or left, republican or democrat - they all march to the beat of their corporate paymasters. Wake up and see reality for what it is. This right-left divide is just a con game and anyone who buys into it is being conned.

“Modeled after” and “alike” are two different things. And of course he says it’s a bad plan. Have you never looked back on a decision you made in the past and thought better of it? It’s called ‘learning from your mistakes’ and its part of life.

Besides, what a governor does in his state is not the same as what a POTUS does to an entire country. It’s been explained many times by Romney himself but you choose to ignore it because it doesn't fit your argument.

Yes OP, the game is up and what you say is absolutely RIGHT. To understand this one will need to spend some time reading more and watching less CNN or FOX NEWS. The Bolshevik Revolution is an excellent example of what $$$$ can do, and that is exactly what made it happen.

Also check who is running the US gov. over the years, their passports say it all. We have been had and the Militia was right. Lindbergh knew what the danger was as did Kennedy.

Looks like what Reagan did was sold this country out to big businesses. So you just showed me a statistic that proves Reagan was a corporate puppet. He sure is the greatest! Let's not forget the beginnings of the economic divide between rich and poor really began with the Reagan administration.

Got anything else that proves my point?

So what does the French Revolution, Chinese Revolution, Russian Revolution, and the current US economic model all have in common?

Answer: Out of control capitalism that created a huge economic divide between the rich and the poor.

Correct. The definition of "Third World Sh^thole" is the lack of a middle class where the upper reaches of society have the vast, vast, majority of the wealth. It really doesn't matter if the mechanism driving this division is socialist, communist, capitalist, monarchist, or even theological in origin. What's important is the DIVISION of wealth, prosperity, and the PROBABILITY (not "possibility") of upward mobility. How you get there is completely irrelevant.

Many republicans like to question why people would support socialism or communism. My take is that it's not a matter of choice, it becomes a matter of necessity after capitalism or totalitarianism sucks the life out of society. Let's face it, there are 6-7 billion people on earth and the current capitalistic model promotes a "winner take all" reality. This is unsustainable and your average republican "capitalist" is actually speeding up the process of the US becoming a socialist/communist state. It will be our only alternative and you will be the ones that put us there.

Exactly...it's great to have the "possibility" of winning of getting rich. However, when the PROBABILITY of doing so in our modern age of exponential inflation, rampant securities fraud, and legalized corruption is roughly akin to winning the lottery WHILE being struck by lightning...then socialism starts looking pretty damn good.

Ironically...if the hard-core "capitalists" want people to feel and vote they way they do...then they should probably vote for the candidate who promises to redistribute the most wealth and raise taxes the highest.

Sorry guys...but if YOUR success doesn't ALSO benefit peasant Joe...then peasant Joe will sooner or later make sure that you can't enjoy your money either.

It's the way of the world...and it's happened over, and over, and over, and over again.

As usual...humanity continues to learn nothing at all.

You may very well NEED me to prove your point because you sure as hell haven't!

Without corporations there would be almost NO jobs! Do you think we’re all going to be farmers; I doubt you could handle that lifestyle!

There is a difference between “capitalism” and “corporatism” (or “crony capitalism”). You obviously have been misled into thinking they are one in the same….YOUR BAD!

What we have under both parties is a oligarchy. Nazi Germany and Communist Russia were also this form of governess.

When the rights of the whole out weigh the rights of the individual something is very wrong. They want to push and push hard so the fringe on both sides rises up. Because in the end the far right will lead to the far left.

The far right is Anarchy and the far left is fascism. Many look at the political spectrum the wrong way they have bought into the lie. Socialism and Communism are in fact both oligarchies. It is the whole governed by a few. Not ruled by laws like Jefferson had in mind.

Soooo this is for all the retarded Liberals who didn't pay attention in high school civics class:

WE ARE A REPUBLIC

The states, so long as it is in the confines of the Constitution, can do whatever they want. Don't like it? Move to another state. For instance I wouldn't ever live in California because it's run by imbeciles. That's my choice.

Obamacare is a FEDERAL program that is inescapable, tramples state rights, and destroys personal liberty. WE the PEOPLE have no choice but to accept this fascist monstrosity.

What a State does cannot be compared to what the Federal Government does. It'd be like Mass. forcing every other state to follow their lead. THEN you could compare the two.
