While this is no new idea, I do know puppies and kittens will get along pretty well if they are raised together.

However this is a very cute video, why the Mail thought it was newsworthy, maybe they ust needed something to fill up their space, in that section.

Yes, I do realize the Mail isn't the most reliable source in the world, but thought I'd post something to lighten things up a bit. So, they brought something adorable to my attention. Too bad we can;t learn from the puppy and kitten though.

Daily Mail Reporter

This adorable video shows Anouk, a golden retriever and Maxwell, a British shorthair cat, cosying up to share a catnap together. Putting paid to the stereotype that cats and dogs never get along the pair, both aged four months, snuggle in and pet each other tenderly.

Funny how it's not just cats and dogs.

It works this way with humans too! (nobody is born as a racist)

Too bad that we get conditioned out of that as we grow up.

Yes, it is too bad how when you get older, you've been "brainwashed" (for want of a better word, to experiences as you develop into an adult) Sometimes though you can over come the bad habit of being a racist, if we just open our eyes, and see people not races.

So cute. I have a German shepherd she loves to nurse small animals, it started with the kittens we found, then she went on to any small animal including trying to feed our pet tortoise.

Even if humans are not conditioned they will find some other way to mess it up.

But, nice video nonetheless.

Yeah we do have that tendency don't we?

Sometimes i really wish i was born a cat or dog, or whatever other animal you might want to think of.

The lives of the animals seem so careless (and i don't mean the ones we slaughter for food ofc).

yep, that's pretty cute, alright. Its amazing how pets constantly give us lessons on how to be nice to each other. Thing is, how many times did they chase each other up and down the hallways and tear ass through the living room while someone was trying to take a nap? How many innocent rolls of toilet paper had to die before there was a peace brokered between the feline and canine camps? And, when the day comes that one or the other has to visit the vet, the other will take revenge (and a number 2) on the owner's shoes? Until then, enjoy the cute.

What a wonderful dog you have, to be so compassionate with other species, you should definately treasure your pet.

If a cat and dog can do this... i see no reason why the people of earth cannot follow suit.

Thanks for the smile

Yes its a shame they just won't leave us alone, we would probably be better off, if hey could forget about race and just look at us as a human being, all with wants and needs, dreams and desires.

I know you have a very special friend, and she would undoubtedly do the same for you. Hopefully, you'll never have to worry about that.
