First of all, stop blaming government for the actions of corporations.

Wake up to the fact that banks have far too much power, and are robbing everyone through their cons. Funny that the free market peop actually support a crooked banker. That is straight up crazy.

Anyone who claims we are not in the middle of a terrible economic crisis is the one living in a fantasy.

And this extreme weather is only going to get worse.

It is not going to be the world of mad max, but things aregoing to continue to get worse.

Its about time for an overthrow no?

So, We the People have bought into Democrats and Republicans, Left and Right, we have taken our side and railed against the other side, but if we are all freedom loving individuals who cherish our rights then the only other side are the sycophants of tyranny, and we need not overthrow those sycophants and tyrants, we merely need to refuse to acquiesce to their tyranny.

The ambitious politicians and ambitious bureaucrats would love to see a violent revolution in this nation. That they could easily quell. What these petty tyrants and their sycophants cannot quell is peaceful revolution. They cannot quell non-acquiescence.

So, you can keep voting.

I respect your writing. I admit I learn things from you. I however, am not as eloquent a writer so bare with me....

My questions are, if you can educate me, you said, "we merely need to refuse to acquiesce to their tyranny."

WHAT does that mean? HOW can I do that? I am a broken nurse, recently placed on temporary disability. I am a mother of two children. I homeschool, and raise chickens out in the country. So I ask, what can I really do?

As far voting is concerned, from my understanding, my popular vote counts not. If all citizens of America refused to vote, the electoral college decides....I say its time to pass some type of legislation to abolish the electoral college.I admit that I am not well educated on how to do that either....

Give me an ill person or a bad wound and I can take care of that. As far as making any difference in this world economically or politically, I feel powerless.......

www.publicbankinginstitute.org...

Public Banks are ...

• Viable solutions to the present economic crises in US states.
• Counter-cyclical, meaning they extend credit precisely when private banks contract credit, creating a "soft" landing.
• Potentially available to any-sized government or community
able to meet the requirements for setting up a bank.
• Owned by the people of a state or community.
• Economically sustainable, because they operate transparently according to applicable banking regulations
• Able to offset pressures for tax increases with returned credit income to
the community.
• Ready sources of affordable credit for local governments, eliminating the need for large “rainy day” funds.
• Required to promote the public interest, as defined in their
charters.
• Constitutional, as ruled by the U.S. Supreme Court

... and are not

• Operated by politicians; rather, they are run by professional
bankers.
• Boondoggles for bank executives; rather, their employees are
salaried public servants (paid by the state, with a transparent pay structure) who would likely not earn bonuses, commissions or fees for generating loans.
• Speculative ventures that maximize profits in the short term,
without regard to the long-term interests of the public.
...

Maybe not perfect, but a definite improvement on what we now have.

Mainstream media is owned by the 0.1% they try to control the direction of debate, and why wouldn't they?
they use their money to protect their interest which mainly means they protect themselves from being subjected to the free market.

Lots of people are afraid of the Free Market and it's understandable but nevertheless free men , free society produces more wealth hence why they like the free market but only for the 'proles'.

The best outcome imho is a free market for all since at least there would be a flow of 'richness to poorness' and vice versa and the winners will be doing something everyone is willing to pay for.

Do not try to bend the government, that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth, there is no government only corporations...A twist on a matrix quote

Great social reference. If only more people would recognize this.

The only way to fix our government is to go after the corporations.

Banks are ran by private sector politicians who are far more corrupt than any pol in DC.

Our current economic crisis was created by the fraudulent business practices of the banks, and anyone who doesn't know this at this point is completely ignorant. Don't throw out that lame argument the DC made them do it, only a complete moron buys that con.

If the banks are so great then why did they have to borrow $Trillions?

Your opinions couldn't be anymore lame.

By homeschooling, you are all ready not acquiescing to tyranny. Any government agency that would come onto your farm and demand to see some sort of license to raise your chickens, don't acquiesce. Inform the government agency on your land they are trespassing and warn them if they do not leave you will call the Sheriff and have them arrested for trespass.

Most importantly, we all need to starve the beast. What people have to start doing is taking a hard look at the so called "income" tax code and reassessing their own liability. Are you liable for this so called "income" tax? Are you filing valid tax returns? If you are not liable yet filing returns, why? Do not acquiesce any tax scheme your not liable for.

Of course, if you are liable and subject to any applicable revenue laws, then pay the tax, as this would not be acquiescence, simply accepting responsibility, but in accepting responsibility, if you are not liable for any tax, nor subject to applicable revenue laws, then non-acquiescence to those tax scheme would also be accepting responsibility.

As far voting is concerned, from my understanding, my popular vote counts not. If all citizens of America refused to vote, the electoral college decides....I say its time to pass some type of legislation to abolish the electoral college.I admit that I am not well educated on how to do that either....

Let's, for the sake of argument, suppose everyone stops voting and an electoral college puts in place a President who aspires to become the next Hitler. Let's look back at Hitler's Germany and imagine that if there were, for every brown shirt thug with a stick, a tie dyed T-Shirt freedom loving slugger with a bigger stick. Imagine if, for every brown shirt thug with a knife, there was an Izod wearing freedom loving brawler with a sharper knife, and imagine that for every brown shirt thug with a gun, there was a blood stained shirt wearing lover of freedom with bigger guns, and explosives.

Americans, even today, aren't pre-Hitler Germans, and will not be so easily disarmed, but long before that ever happens, there are the more practical people who simply refuse to acquiesce. America loves to put their own spin on history, and many Americans have come to believe that Ronald Regan and the vast spending power of an industrial military complex brought down the Soviet Union. The Soviets had a term for this American proclivity to re-write history, they called it Rambo-Rockia. Ronald Regan and the American military industrial complex did not bring down the Soviet Union. Russians did that. Russians who simply refused to acquiesce.

The Velvet Revolution of Czechoslovakia is a damn fine example of a peaceful revolution ousting non-elected government officials. It is not as if this "gentle revolution" was all about voting. It was all about confronting tyranny.

OK...You have me interested in what country you are from. It could be Canada but Canadians tend to be too polite for this...but you talk similar to one. The word GIGGLY is something I would expect from an Aussie but you seem to type in an American/Canadian aspect of speech so possible ex-patriot?

U.K. is a possibility but we have saved their Asses so many times it would be hard for me to think it was a person from the U.K. I have been there many times and have always felt at home as well as a respect for the Politeness as well as my respect for how the U.K.'s general population...Soldiered On and lived inside the Underground without any complaint. I also have been on JOB's with members of the U.K.'s...well I will just say best....and they have proven themselves time and again. I would really be dismayed if you were from the U.K.

As far as having a pair...I do not need to go into details of what I have done... as well as sacrificed. But as far as having a pair to use as far as this topic is concerned...I am and have been doing this for some time. It has not been easy at first but when you talk to people on the scale I do...and I cannot start preaching in a show....a few facts about the U.S. Citizen spoken do more for their confidence than any talk about our RIDICULOUSLY POWERFUL MILITARY...$1.3 TRILLION last year. But fortunately...we have come to a point where Sci-Fi and REALITY have caught up to one another.

In the next 6 Months...the U.S. Military will undergo a complete and total restructuring plan that will change the face of Warfare. This will drop Military Expenditures Dramatically and no Lobbyist from any Military Supplying Corp. will be able to change or influence this as the U.S. will finally be able to not only be the Most Lethal Military that has ever existed...but it will be able to cut cost by more than 50%.

If you have not heard about Direct Energy Weapons or the FEL or Free Electron Laser. Read UP! It will make Nuclear Weapons OBSOLETE as well as be a Nuclear Powered Laser that is not effected by Atmospheric issues. Along with a Satellite System for Target and Acquisition which is controlled by several networked Super Computers...it will be and part of the system is active NOW...be able to VAPORIZE any TARGET...ANYWHERE...traveling at ANY SPEED...on Land, Ocean, Air, Space, a Sub under water at any depth...and be able to Vaporize an ICBM's Entire MIRVED CASING as well as all Warheads at a temp that is Hotter than the SUN. The beam may be broadened or split as many times as needed and with Multiple Super Computers doing Tracking and Auto Firing...even something as small as a 50 Cal Round can be Vaporized. All U.S. Carriers will have them installed as well as all Aegis Cruisers and each will have it's own independent Nuclear Power Source.

And since the U.K. want's in on this BAD I am going to choose...an Aussie or New Zeal Lander. But something is not right...your obvious Hatred is the Key.

Say all the fluff you want, it's STILL just TALK and that's all Americans will ever do.

Land of the free? LOL, more like land of the entitled whiners.
Hell, when it comes to taking action, even the FRENCH have more balls then you!

Obama could shred the constitution on live TV and all you guys would do is bitch & moan about it, not remove said corrupt government like it says to do 'cause then that would mean missing the new episode of True Blood or some other low-brow show.
Sure the current government is ignoring the constitution but what you fail to realize is that ALL of YOU have a DUTY/RESPONSIBILITY to remove such a government and until you do YOU ARE JUST AS GUILTY OF IGNORING THE CONSTITUTION.

Again, prove me wrong (Hint: Another wall-o-text/fluff isn't the answer), I dare you. ALL of you lack the balls and the will.

A free market is just a venue where buyers and sellers meet and exchange freely, no force is involved.
Your probably right but it is the best and fairest way to allocate resources .

Did I say banks were great? Did I say DC made them do anything? The banks own and operate DC and they also own every blade of grass in this entire country, including the ones under your feet, plus compound interest for the privilege of standing on "their" property. But it was THE PEOPLE who willingly traded their tangible wealth for those little green pieces of paper and now THE PEOPLE know how much they were worth.

All I said is that public banking is far different than federal reserve banking and I'll be waiting for you to give us a better option. What's your plan? I'm all ears.

Do you double dare on a pinky swear dare, or is this more like a fey truth or dare you play like all the limp wristed metrosexuals?

Calm down, sport before you suffer premature ejaculation. There is plenty of opportunity for redress of grievance in this nation, and I get that this annoys the salivating itchy finger brawn over brain advocate, but if we were all to take your double dare pinky swear dare seriously, then we'd wind up being led by the brawn over brain sect.

I may have too much faith in humanity, but I remain convinced that there will come a day when people stop following anyone other than the dictates of their own conscience, and upon that day leaders will be obsolete.

Good luck in riling the masses, sport. That double dare pinky swear dare probably will not work, but good luck anyway.

There is nothing free about it, and just like our liberty, it must be maintained with constant vigil.

@21:49 -- The way you deal with deficit reduction in a responsible way, in a fair way. Is you say to the billionaries in this country, who are doing phenomenally well, you make the point that Warren Buffett made. That there's something a little bit absurd that millionaires and billionaires today, in the midst of the deficit crisis, are paying the lowest tax rates that they have paid in decades. So yes we're going to have to ask the wealthiest people in this country to start paying their fair share of taxes. I saw a piece in the paper yesterday, it was quite incredible. The rich people are apparently leaving America. They're giving up their citizenship. They're going abroad. These great lovers of America, who made their money in this country. When you ask them to start paying their fair share of taxes they're running abroad."

I guess Republican extremists have started taking their own advice when they say, "If you don't want to live in a free country leave."

I certainly support wealth distribution and no tax loopholes. Learn to work with your hands or be a high browed snot and pay all your taxes. There is a choice.....

Of course the opposite of a "high brow snot" would be a low brow ignoramus. You bet your ass there is a choice, and as long as people keep deferring to low brow ignoramuses the problems are only going to get worse.

Yeah, maybe you did misunderstand me. But nothing was stopping you from visiting the site I linked to find out for yourself what I was talking about before going off like a firecracker on independence day. I'm interested in solutions, not negative nelly knee jerk reactions to anything that's suggested.
