but still....let everyone bear arms.... just put a limit on ammunition, problem solved! It's a little harder to make re-loads for self exploading/directed ammuntion then it is to make reloads for a hunting rifle.

No bullets= no threat! ... folks can have all the hunting ammo they want, all the target ammo they want, just not ammo for the automatic assault weapons. Problem solved.

I fondly remember the days when we had a doctor in town who didn't take appointments, didn't take insurance.... he specialized in minor ailments that people these days go to the ER for. Things like sprains, colds, flu... just the basic stuff. His office charge was $20, he gave you a prescription for cough syrup and an antibiotic if you needed it and wrapped whatever wound there was.... he was loved by all and severly missed (this was in the late 70's up to the early 90's). He could see 100 or more people a day and you never had to wait more than 10 minutes, EVER.
One of his favorite things to say was "if I can't help you, I'll send you to a real doctor" LOL
He really was an excellent physician and could often tell what was wrong before you even told him. This included diagnosing very significant issues such as cancer, pneumonia, gallbladders, appendicitus... all of it. He was gifted at "reading his patients" as well as taking care of what needed to be done and send them on to specialists ONLY if needed.

We don't have doctors like that anymore


ETA: He also owned he local pharmacy and just called the prescriptions over instead of going through mounds of paperwork... I really really miss the guy!

This health care bill is horrible. It changes the relationship between the government and the citizen. And is a financial nightmare that will complete the controlled financial collapse of America. On top of being the largest tax increase ever.

Oh, I forgot..I dont think our Government gives away land anymore..I was thinking Alaska..out in the middle of no-where..if we dont like it..we can jump in Russia..Siberia sounds good to me..plenty of land and food..and no humans. We could build our own house without a building inspector..no red tape or laws..Log Cabin sounds nice to me! I wouldn't mind living in Canada .. they have hockey all the freak'n time .. they've got great icecream ... they've got less air pollution ... they've got a lot more room and a ton less people ... they've got MOLSON and fresh maple syrup and canadian bacon ... but the problem is it's just too darn expensive. All that 'free' healthcare costs a bunch when it comes to buying goods and services. Other than the expense ... it's a nice place. (except Quebec ... that's like a whole different country ... really snooty people there).

No one is going anywhere. Limbaugh proclaimed he'd move to Canada if healthcare passed and guess whose fatass is still here? I've only known one person who made good on a threat like that. He moved to Sweden when Bush got reelected and urged me to do the same. Hew said "It proves the utter stupidity of the average America cannot be fixed", packed up the wife and his kids and was gone to Sweden. He does well there so I guess it was a good move.

In all actuality, I could care less where they go, so long as they go and thanks to your clarification of Iranian policy, it looks like Iran is just the place for them to live out their lives in pure content. I mean really, it has everything they're fighting for.
