If people were hesitant to join the Romney bandwagon before Thursday's news day. Well, it only gave republicans everywhere more fire. I think currently Health Care has once again, become the major campaign issue. You even have Republicans stating that Health Care is the economy! Now, we have two goals. To repeal ObamaCare day one! And to fix the mess that is our Supreme Court. I believe Mitt Romney can do two of these things with ease. As, as President he gets the power to elect justices onto the SCOTUS and he also has the power to repeal as much of ObamaCare as he wants.

Republicans have rallied around Mitt Romney yesterday citing that the court and the Obama Administration is in on the scheme to raise taxes on all Americans, even after Obama has said himself that it was not a tax multiple times!!!!

The SCOTUS re-wrote the law and King Obama tricked and lied to the American people!

I also think that it's funny that Mitt Romney gave his speech first before President Obama!

RomneyCare & ObamaCare: Can You Tell the Difference?

The difference is...One is state level; one is federal law and a mandate!!!!!!

Hey guess what, Romney's is a libertarian conservative solution. Obama's is a fraud!

He can only appoint justices when one retires...the next to retire leans conservative anyway.

And what power does Romney have to repeal as much of the Health Care Law as he wants???

And no...the SCOTUS didn't "re-write" the law...it was always a penalty administered as a tax and enforced by the IRS.

It's looking like Republicans will once again control the house and senate. So he can repeal it if that happens.

If it doesn't, then he can't do it himself, obviously that would be doing the same thing Obama has. Although, I am sure he can sign some opt-out legislature which is what should happen.

Where do you get the idea that the Republicans will control the Senate???

They have a chance at getting a majority (a small chance)...but they aren't going to get a super majority for sure.

Please explain how Romney would be able to do it himself.

You did not just call Romney a Libertarian.

Yes...one is state level...and Romney has always claimed he is against "Obamacare" because it is unconstitutional to have the mandate at a national level. He can no longer use that argument...the SCOTUS says otherwise. So now what is his excuse for being against it???

Really...because the Liberal Presidents are the only ones that use executive orders???

So tell me...how exactly would Romney use an EO to repeal the law??? Because he just can't repeal it...that isn't what EOs do. So what exactly would he do?

Wow. Just wow.

Besides the fact that you don't even seem to understand what an Executive Order is, you're trying to pin them as some partisan measure that is unique to the left.

Executive orders have been issued by every president since 1789, and they can't be used to repeal laws that have been passed by congress.

Executive Order

I don't need a lesson from you, sir.

On his first day, via executive order, Romney can grant states an exemption to Obamacare.

Mitt's Plan

On his first day in office, Mitt Romney will issue an executive order that paves the way for the federal government to issue Obamacare waivers to all fifty states. He will then work with Congress to repeal the full legislation as quickly as possible.

In place of Obamacare, Mitt will pursue policies that give each state the power to craft a health care reform plan that is best for its own citizens. The federal government’s role will be to help markets work by creating a level playing field for competition.
