But you do understand that our healthcare has been turned over to a centralized gaggle of eugenicists, social engineers and self serving busybodies who exempted themselves from the very law they have forced upon the people?
They have managed to make all of us, including our progeny, into debt slaves by accumulating over $135,000,000,000,000 TRILLION in debt... for our own good, of course. Now that healthcare is in the hands of bureaucrats who only have the best of intentions, what could possibly go wrong?

Even worse, we have turned over our healthcare to the very same type of people who run the department of motor vehicles.

Why should having healthcare be tied to having a job?
Is that freedom?
What if someone choose to be a independent contractor or very small business owner? Where is this person supposed to obtain healthcare?
For that reason alone, I would like to see our healthcare system tore down and rebuilt.

that's probably the difference...you are right.
i'm going to be a well fed slave and you'll be a person with a very affordable coffin.
have a nice one.
O.K....
I see that you are for ObeyMeCare... Fine... your choice of course...
But the majority of people would rather have the chance to succeed or fail without the help of a nanny state, and dictator at the helm..
All you can do is kill me, you cannot (nor ever) Own me...
I'm not worried about this entire situation, it will not remain the way it is, as they are working hard to get us to revolt.. I can see that soon, that will happen...
Are you prepared to kill your own family members for revolting? (honest question no antagonism's intended) because many family members will not go peacefully with you, or with a squadron...
Hard choices will have to be made....
I'd like to think you will make the Constitutional one in the end?...

Obamacare has taken away your freedoms?
Please explain this statement in detail. Its been repeated often enough to deserve an in depth explanation; don't you agree?
as far as longevity...based on family history; i'll outlast most of you as if i'd live two of your lives at minimum. all those things you mentioned may kill you but i'll be fine.
nevertheless, isn't it fair that the world actually knows the specifics of your complaints...or are you happy that no one actually knows what you are talking about?
Hey, if a person chooses to roll the dice with their health than thats their choice, who the hell is the Govt. to pentalize someone for them choosing not to take health care?? Once upon a time ago in this country we had choices, nowadays the govt. wants to make those choices for us...
There should be a class-action lawsuit against the US Govt.... This is legalized extortion, this is total BS, and the people shouldnt stand for it...Obama is a freaking crook...

Being a Canadian...
...and married to someone working in the travel insurance industry who deals with American hospitals all the time, I can safely say that all insured Americans are part of a repugnant racket between insurance companies and healthcare institutions. (hospitals)
I will explain;
You're insured. Let's say you have a medical issue; we'll say...cardiac arrest. You go to the hospital, have various scans performed on your heart, consultations with specialists and eventually admitted as a patient for let's say...5 days. Reasonable enough....?
After all is said and done, you recieve a statement of the bill which your insurance recieves as well stating an amount of, let's say...$75,000.
Now, this is where the fun starts...
Your insurance company, specifically someone called a "claims negotiator" contacts the hospital where you were admitted. They say (probably in a more eloquent way that I could); "...$75,000?...Nope, we're not paying that. We'll give you $5,000 and we'll direct all our policy holders in your area to your facility in the future,... Deal?."
These conditions are always accepted.
Now, policy holders of that insurance company will be directed to this specific hospital where, when admitted they'll recieve a battery of scans and tests and endless consultations with specialist after specialist who recommend this scan and that test; all in the name of good heathcare service. The patient believes they're being attended to with the utmost of care. This is just a front.
Every time you're poked and prodded adds more digits to the bill.
This is the whole point to your healthcare. Once they get you in, they look for other health issues you may have. (Hoping that they find something,) just to keep the money trickling in. Because the money doesn't come in huge amounts from insurance companies as the layman would tend to believe.
Only those unfortunate saps without insurance in this case would be stuck with the full bill of $75,000...non-negotiable. This is because they are powerless and have nothing to offer.
I believe public healthcare is needed in the U.S.but unfortunately, Obamacare was just bad timing. There are more pressing issues to be resolved prior to introducing such a monumental change in the country.
On another note; perhaps public healthcare would be feasible in the U.S. if less tax money was being funneled into wars, weapons and overseas watch-dogging where the money basically dissappears and more into public health where the benefits would be seen and be actually tangible to taxpayers. But this is way too obvious and has most likely been said my many...sorry for the redundancy.

Yes they run the DMV, but they also run America. Is there any country in the world better than America?
There's a argument that everything the government touches turns to poo, which isn't true. When the desire is there, and there aren't moles mucking up the lawn, our programs run the best in the world.
