She should have shipped her children off to Palestine; apparently the Israeli's would have had no problem taking them off her hands and torturing them.

Joking aside, this is terrible, but children can cause a lot of stress for parents to the point where they snap. I'm guessing that is what happened here because it's not exactly normal/permissible behavior to casually throw your children away.

She probably was always crazy, I'm sure this wasn't her only incident of abuse.

On the bright side, at least those kids don't have to suffer anymore.

This doesn't benefit anyone. All it does is create a consistent image for anyone coming to this site, that the entire planet is going to Hell in a handbasket. It's a skewed, distorted, and totally one sided image. There is a lot of good being done in the world as well, but you'd never know it, coming here.

Take some responsibility for how your actions are likely to affect someone else's mental health; and try also asking yourself, whether or not something that you're going to post here, will actually create a more positive impression of the world around them, or whether or not it's just doom porn.

I know I might seem to be coming across as harsh here, but something I've been realising recently, is that our single biggest problem as a species, is not what is actually happening in the world, in and of itself. What is really important is how we react to it, and our mental and emotional state.

By posting articles like this, you're not contributing anything positive to our perception or understanding of the world. All you're doing is giving people reason to be even more depressed or angry than they might be already, due to something which they can do nothing about.

Please let me babble for a minute.

Would we be as upset if she threw litter off the balcony? No? Why not? Do we suppose that all "modern" mothers see their children as valuable beings with all the rights of a full human, and who are to be protected loved and cared for? It is to laugh.

Doesn't modern society try to tell us that we have to make ourselves happy? That there is no source of morality outside of what we choose to follow? (I know I see that on ATS.) That if you don't like the sex of your kids you can abort them? That the emotional health of a mother is sufficient reason for abortion? That a child which was unsuccessfully aborted can be left to die?

I don't mean this to be about abortion. Remember the story from Asia where a kid was run over and no one stopped to help, or even move him? And don't forget the drone attacks. Where is our respect for human life? Environmentalists saying over and over that people are a cancer on the planet and need to be eradicated. Doesn't this woman deserve a green award?

My point is that if you train people to believe that they are the center of the Universe, everything should be based on their desires, and the individual human is nothing special, you'll get this kind of story. (Just as a side note to my babble, the lack of value of any individual human helps make suicide bombing and honor killings so acceptable.)
