And I'll close with these words from the late Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. He said, “Unlike the plagues of the dark ages, or contemporary diseases which we do not yet understand, the modern plague of overpopulation is solvable with means we have discovered and with resources we possess. What is lacking is not sufficient knowledge of the solution, but universal consciousness of the gravity of the problem and the education of the billions who are its victims.”
So now I'm stuck between... conversation with crazy people about topics that I'm truly interested in, or finding a new place to have such conversations with people that are so indoctrinated in their perceptions that they deny everything I say.

I will also add that it is the "crazy" who often see the truth because they are not encumbered with the bs of daily life. They not only see the truth that the sheeple miss, they obsess on it. This obsession with what lies beneath is just one of the things that makes them so unattractive to the world.edit on 28-6-2012 by Numbers33four because: (no reason given)

It's interesting that you say this...
While witnessing individuals through out my life slip into psychotic states or psychosis, I have honestly listened to many of them speak about things with incredible accuracy. Especially when it comes to theoretical physics and such... I sat for 3 hours one day, listening to a old friend of mine ramble on about displacement, gravity, and mass... his theories were amazing! Knowing what I knew then, as well as additional research that I've done since completely makes what he was saying plausible, if not the truth. I've participated in many physics forums, and based my lines of questioning in regards to his theories... and what do ya know, it seems like he was on to something.
I've recently brought up this theory to him, and he had absolutely no recollection about the conversation. That's when I asked him to explain it again... and he couldn't. He tried, and then admitted that he had no idea even where to start. I thought it was weird that he could one day, ramble on for 3 hours about complex ideas and then in the future have no idea about what he was talking about. This was seriously crazy at its finest.
I hope people don't think that I'm trying to be rude by posing this question... but I feel that it would be an accurate statement that suggests that there's a higher percentage of people that have been committed that are members of ATS in comparison to the percentage of people that have a history with psychosis in the world.

I have said it many times before.....and will no doubt say it many times again.....
"The real believers on ATS are the debunkers".
It is pointless trying to find the truth....if you can't accept that it may not fit with your world-view.

I joke because it's ridiculous for someone with a mental illness to visit a conspiracy website. If you do then too bad you'll get what you were looking for.
Like that girl that committed suicide because she was worried about 12-21-12. Give me a break.
Too many people looking for a scapegoat is the problem.
