www.rt.com...

Its how the superpowers work: Putin: "Hey look we will cancel the sale of the S-300 if u guys reign in Turkey during the NATO meeting". Obama: "Sounds good to me, we'll make sure they do something to "save face" but it wont amount to anything militarily overt". Putin: "Thanks. By the way, some of our bombers are on a routine mission and they will probe the US airspace but its nothing to worry about-just a training exercise". Obama: "I hear ya dawg...no worries. We're gonna hold some big exercise in the middle east son but who knows what-you know how it goes".

That's funny! Just for the humourous attempt I have to give ya a S&F.

I don't really think those two are buddies though. Putin has a tendancy to school Obama every time they meet.

And as much as it pains me, Putin is right. Our POTUS is a amatuer.

I'm guessing here, but if it is true then perhaps it might simply be because they are worried about payment if the regime goes down the toilet, and worried these might fall into the hands of those they feel are orchestrating what is going on in Syria..

I had the same thought. This was also a concern during Iraq war as the russians were waiting for payments from Saddam

I'd love to get my hands on an intact S-300 system.

Why? They are junk. U.S. Electronic Warfare Aircraft can easily burn out their guidance systems.
