The World has some ~1 billion years more, according to archangel Uriel in 2 Esdras 14

Timing of the world's future given by archangel Uriel to Esdras:

2 Esdras 14
10 For the world hath lost his youth, and the times begin to wax old.
11 For the world is divided into twelve parts, and the ten parts of it are gone already, and half of a tenth part:
12 And there remaineth that which is after the half of the tenth part.

The simple estimation gives 10/12 plus 1/2 of 1/10 = 53/60 or little more than 14/15 the already passed time.

(Or we may use the clock to say there are still 7 minutes from 1 hour).

When trying to estimate with the relevant year of the Jewish calendar and the supposed years of the life of Esdras, nothing relevant comes out, you can't match those portions that would be long passed by now.

And then I realized archangel Uriel talks not of the time of 6000 years of the Bible. Not perhaps of the time of this planet (4 bln years) although it would be significant too. But of the time of the Universe as a whole - the entire world from God's perspective. If the scientists are correct in their dating of a 15-17 billion years old Universe, according to the above formula of archangel Uriel we can get another ~ 1 billion years or so life of the Universe, and consequently, of the human race that is relatively new in it (from 6000 years since Adam).

How far above us are God's ways! As archangel Uriel speaks to Esdras in ch 2 after Esdras prayer, the historic review of the humankind and the Jewish nation in ch. 1.

So, may be the Millennium kingdom of Jesus Christ and his saints is much more than 1000 years, as the Greek word implies Millennia, many thousands, not only one thousand years...

And we know it will last until the end of the universe including the end of the nature of the matter and the physical laws, as described at the end of the Revelation.

But before that, there is a War on Heaven (Rev 12), between Archangel Michael AND HIS ARMY and Satan and HIS ARMY. Those armies are not just spirits, they are EXTRATERRESTRIALS. It is said dragon's tail took 1/3 of the stars. Let put aside the naive medieval interpretations of failing hi-rank clergy (we all know about that, just put it where it belongs to). Let think of real star systems subdued to Satan. Today we have that knowledge to realize what the prophet talks about. 1/3 of all of them will follow Satan! In our own galaxy there are 400 billion stars already counted. In the nearest galaxy Andromeda there are 1 trillion stars. There are 100 billion other galaxies already counted. These numbers can only increase, not decrease. How many trillions of civilizations are there? 1/3 of them will follow Satan. But the other 2/3 will follow God and will participate in archangel Michael's army, and will ultimately win! As of now, they may still not know of Jesus the Son of the Most High. The way the Earthy tribes did not know immediately of Jesus' passion, death and resurrection in Judea, but were told later, some of them many centuries later. It will take quite a time to spread the Gospel to the entire Universe, the Good news of the Resurrection of the Son of God. Nobody else has ever resurrected in the Universe, not even the higher dimensional extraterrestrials, who also die after 4000 year lifespan (as contactees claim).

And after the Good news is spread and 2/3 of the systems accept it, trillions of them, there should be some time for the War in heaven to take place and end victoriously for Archangel Michael's army. Only then will happen the last events on Earth described in the Apocalypse of John. The victory in the Universe (Rev.12) will be crowned finally by the Glorious Second Coming of Jesus on Earth, Resurrection of righteous, and the Millennium kingdom.

We are given reason, and we MUST include today's knowledge that is much bigger than in the year of 90 AD. Now we can understand what John has seen and written. Or what Ezekiel has seen and written in chapter 1. Or where did Elijah and Enoch go. Not in Heaven of God before the resurrection of Jesus, they were NOT resurrected or transformed, but in one of all those worlds - planets. There we will go too, in the planetary rescue mission before the upheaval scheduled for 2012. Peter talks about it too. He doesn't talk of the Second Coming of Jesus but of the Earth being consumed by fire and we delivered from that.
