I agree with you that all religions can be violent.

Islam clearly has proven itself not to be a religion of peace.

Historians estimate that about 270 million people have been killed by Jihad since Islam came onto this earth.

• 120 million Africans

• 60 million Christians

• 80 million Hindus

• 10 million Buddhists

www.politicalislam.com...

Sadly, while Christians stopped killing in the name of religion hundreds of years ago, the Muslims are still at it.

I remember those numbers. You posted them a few months back in another thread about Muslims, and they were debunked.
You sir are one lousy troll. You keep posting the same debunked fake facts from biased sites.
I sure hope you dont get paid for trolling because you suck at it.

Christians stopped killing in the name of religion and began killing in the name of resources and money. Donth bother replying me with links about how Muhammad was evil, use your brain capacity for once.

I wish Allah would sent his army down, to solve this earthly childish madness.

Love and Peace to all

(In the video the Christians called this upon themselves. And got what they deserved)

it's funny to me. But I admit, I wonder why. You know people like you are full of hate, I wonder why...

You cannot argue with anything I have written about Islam due to the fact that I have quoted the Koran and Hadith so you are reduced to making an ad hominem attack.

If you can't attack the message, attack the messenger?

Koran 9:29

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

Koran

Go read Sura 9 here Sura 9: Repentance and you will see that the context of the whole Sura makes it clear that it literally means what it says - "Fight those who do not believe in Allah... ...until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled".

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle was asked, "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and His Apostle (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, "What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, "To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause."

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, number 25

I have studied the Koran and Hadith. I apologise if that offends you.

No, I was not raped by Muslims.

I was prompted to study Islam after a terrorist attack near my home. I wanted to find out why Islam produces so many violent followers.

I advise you to do the same. Here is a link to help you start.

Its like running in a crowd of black people, and shout the N word.
And then taping how you get beat up, and say see!!
not even close and most blacks in my region would laugh first, then cheer you on while requesting you show your ta-tas

these non-comparisons are ridiculous.
the Dearborn incident is an occurring event, not a hypothetical maybe.

no offense intended here, but if they wanted a segregated, muslim, event, perhaps they should have utilized private instead of public space.
wasn't this a public festival in an American city ??

The United West is dedicated to defending and advancing Western Civilization against the kinetic and cultural onslaught of Shariah

theunitedwest.org...

The site that the OP video is from is a trash pro isreal site. Its simple propaganda.

If you do a news wire search you will find one story that supports the OP view from "The Examiner" You will find several stories that support the anti-islam view in the area.. It disappoints me that some people put this kinda BS out to trick others into the small minded world of hate and intolerance they live in.

I mean the middle east area has only been plagued with strife for the past 1-10 years
i'm guessing you are not old enough to consider the past oh, 5000yrs or so.

Not every minority in the ghetto is violent/intolerant, but that's the way it's painted in the media
no, that's how you painted it, here. (see your post that you quoted)
and i called you on it, don't backpedal now.

Americans shouldn't tolerate intolerance
in this, we agree ... however, Americans have to move past their own intolerances, first.

as for you last assault on "most ATSers", i am officially offended and i disagree.

I am not clear on what happened.

I do know that some Christians have a habit of interrupting other religious groups though, with preaching and well..really cursing..you know the 'you are going to HELL if you don't repent now!" sort of thing.

It happens at pagan festivals sometimes. There is an ordinance though that you can't interrupt religious events with that sort of thing, so if the Christians went in to do that, they were wrong. It isn't the time or the place.

If they went into particpate and be peaceful, and not to harrass or proselytize, then I can't imagine why they were not left alone.

It is not POLITE to go where you are not wanted and to cause trouble. Would a Christian group like it if pagans went to their homecoming feast with horns on their heads, half naked, and started calling the quarters and dancing the maypole? Or if Muslims showed up and started screaming they were infidels and that they should worship Allah and blessed be the prophet??

NO,. It wouldn't be welcomed and it would ruin the event, and cause strife between groups. That sort of thing is not needed by anyone. It does NO one a service and it won't win souls - it will make people HATE you, and that isn't going to win any souls for Jesus or keep anyone out of hell that honestly belongs there.

Do unto others as you would have have them treat you - that's another way of stating the golden rule, some say a better one - it's more clear. Don't HURT one another, LOVE one another.

That basic thing - love one another - trumps all the other things, be it winning souls or pointing out infidels pr shakin your booty on Beltane.

It's REAL simple folks.

DEARBORN, MI — Just before lunch Monday, the storage structure of the Muslim Community Center owned by the nearby American Muslim Center caught fire.

Upon arriving at the center, American Muslim Center Imam Mohammad Mardini discovered white-painted graffiti of male genitalia and dashes arching in the form of a rainbow toward the word "Arabs

Although Dearborn Fire Marshal Laura Ridenour said the cause of the fire has not been officially labeled arson, "there are some things that make it appear intentional."

www.mlive.com...

The FBI is also probing it as a hate crime. To me this sounds like some Westboro Baptist Church types.

People have freedom of speech. Nothing is stopping the Muslim attendees from protesting at Christian events or counter protesting at the Arab American Festival. The folks who are wrong here are the ones that resort to violent behavior. Throwing blunt objects? I don't care about the obscenities being hurled in their direction. However, I am against throwing things at people that could cause bodily injury. I realize the Christian attendees may be there only to incite a violent reaction. Why do the Muslim people of Dearborn get so upset over this? Just ignore them, and go about their business. They are eating right out of the Christian's hands. I say that, because they go in there expecting a violent confrontation to pull the martyr card. Why give them the satisfaction?
edit on 26-6-2012 by Jakes51 because: I changed "Muslim Festival," to "Arab American Festival," as to not generalize the attendees and to reference it by the proper name.

I was waiting until someone decided to bring up Freedom of Speech. No, people do NOT have freedom as speech, not as you think. There are limitations to this "Freedom", the main one being that you are not 'covered' by FOS if what you are saying or doing is offensive or harmful to others. It's called the Harm Principal, and one of the only restrictions to Freedom of Speech.

I think in this case, freedom of speech has been waived for the purpose of causing hurt to others.

i'm not following your line of thinking.
respect belongs solely in the Constitutionality of the actions of both sides.
(neither of which do i approve - in case you missed that earlier]

both sides, had every right to do and be, where and how they were at the onset of the event.
(given i cannot view the video)

bottom line is ... if you are protesting a gay parade, should you reasonably expect to be physically assaulted by the parade participants.
if you are protesting the upcoming conventions, should you reasonably expect to be assaulted by the nominees ??
if you are protesting abortion clinics, should you reasonably expect to be assaulted ??

there is no comparison, no excuse or valid reason, no purpose and no benefit resulting from their actions.

the rhetoric is just that, rhetoric ... ignore it and move along.
it does not matter what the signs said, they are words, turn a blind eye and mind your manners.

there is no justification for the assault ... period.

So far i cant find any legit sources spporting this as true. I can find...

Tensions flared Friday evening at the annual Arab International Festival in Dearborn as members of some Christian missionary groups — including one called the Bible Believers — taunted Arab Americans with a pig’s head and signs that promoted hatred of Islam.

“You’re gonna burn in hell,” one missionary shouted at a group of young Arab-American boys listening to him speak on Warren Avenue, where the festival takes place.

Some of the signs the missionaries held read: "Islam is a religion of blood and murder" and "Muhammad (Islam's prophet) is a ... liar, false prophet, murderer, child molesting pervert."

At one point, some kids started throwing water bottles and pop cans at the missionaries. Others chanted “Allah-U-Akbar” (God is the greatest). One of the Christians shouted in response “Jesus Akbar.” (some stoning huh)

A Christian missionary with another group told a group of Arab-American Muslim boys that they are ''transgressing against God.'' One boy then spilled some water on the missionary.

In his Friday sermon, the imam of the mosque, Hassan Al-Qazwini, warned parents that some missionaries at the Arab Festival could target their children for conversion: ''Be careful. ... They could be taken (spiritually) from us.''

www.freep.com... head

So, until you all can find a real source for this there is no logic into just buying what they sell you.

Right to peaceably assemble? Silly me, I forgot that right doesn't extend to Christians anymore.

Are you bloody kidding... these hillbilly christians are doing exactly what has been the cause of so many wars for hundreds of years. Missioning and trying to FORCE their idiosyncratic message to people who don't really need it or wants it.
This is a perfect example of how christians can be as stupid and thoughtless as other religions, and a perfect example to remind me why I will never become religious.

The muslims were having a festival... minding their own business... How would christians react if a group of muslims, hindus or atheists came to their festival and started waving banners and talk crap?

This is all a huge joke, and I have to side with the muslim festival on this one. That guy with a beard and glasses... what a freaking joke, can't take him seriously at all.

F*** religion... try to have some faith in yourself and take responsibility for your own life instead of relying on false idols and fairytale gospels.

the illuminati card game comes to mind. Backlash card amongst others.

This is all staged.

I don't know how people who try and inform themselves about conspiracies they know are afoot, yet they go ahead and hate a whole people just because they are different. Just like TPTB want you to.

Like you even know a Muslim to say you hate them......IGNORANT.

These Christian fundamentalists are more worthy of hate. These are the types of people that bomb abortion clinics and hang gays.

F them. They deserve stones if all they offer is a show of force on a community of people who happen to be Muslim. F racism and xenophobia. They are the tools of TPTB. Why succumb to them.

SO if I wanted to start a problem between my two enemies I would just pit them against each other.

Like if Christians would resist my message of authority OVER god and all else I would use Muslims to agitate the Christians and hopefully make them kill each other, since Muslims also think of god as the absolute power, not manmade governments.

But hey, maybe they are evil and smelly and ugly. That's a smart reason to hate people in such a way that one day a full blown race war will erupt like Charles Manson wanted. I mean its normal......

Hate people you never met
.
