Just let them fight each other, who really cares....honestly, at the end of the day we'll all still accept religion as something normal instead as a tool to divide us so let's not waste our time talking about which side is more wrong, THEY ALL ARE so shutty!!!!

There was no real assault, you are taking whats reported in a single propaganda site which is very clear about its biased.
no, i am discussing the topic as presented by the OP, considering i've admitted more than once that i cannot even view the video in question.

you are attempting to minimize the multiple assaults commited that day and i'm not buying it.
spitting on someone can be prosecuted as attempted murder given the right circumstances, so, quit trying to dismiss physical altercations as some schoolyard spat.

this was assault, (intentionally emptying your fluids on another person is assault) perpetrated by the host and affiliated children attending an event in a public space.

the point that it was in public space is the main factor here.
on private property, protesters could have been prevented from entering.
on private property, the hosts could select participants of their choosing.
on private property, all of this could have been averted.

on public property, they willingly accept the risk of dealing with the public - and it's always a risk.
they welcomed the risk and then responded with violence.
some would call that an ambush.

10:20 Full bottle of water thrown at the camera man hits the camera causing it to malfunction. I could go on with this if you want. You are blatantly ignoring the evidence in the video to propagandize your view of what is going on.

I'm not against any religon personaly and lean towards the Buddhist beliefes in that.. There no set path to enlightment. I am against bigots, trouble makers who want to use free speech as a blanket to protect them from getting called on what they do. Individuals who have no tolerance for others life or ideals.

Checked it out, there nothing to say thats a full bottle of water at all. So yeah, you might want to keep going lol

By the way, had that been a full bottle of water i have no doubt the camera lens would have cracked. It was mostly likely a empty bottle that had evaporation on the outside or one that had been in an ice chest and had moisture on the outside of the bottle.

I'd still love to know how you equate that to stoning also.

during the crusades ( 1095-1291 )

So you are trying to justify violence committed by Muslims today with the crusades which were 700 years ago?

Here is a map showing the maximum extent of Islamic conquests of Christian Europe.

By the way, Islam attacked Spain hundreds of years BEFORE the Crusades.

Using your own logic that the Crusades of 700 years ago justifies Islamic violence today, then the crusades were perfectly justified by the Islamic conquest of Spain in the 8th century.

Or does your logic only ever engage to justify Muslim violence?

The crowd at the festival has shown that Islamic violence, even in the USA, is not a thing of the past.

They where next to eachother and at the same time. I can see more correlation in arson and hate graffiti being so close and done at almost the same time then i can see saying someone was stoned by having an empty plastic water bottle thrown at them. If that is the case American's stone eachother at concerts and sporting events every night.

and none of this indicates that both the graffitti artist and the arsonist are one in the same person or people.

it is sad to hear that this has happened but without more "evidence", it is just as likely a false flag ordered by the church or members within.

if you follow my posts, i said projectiles from the first one because i wasn't there and i cannot view the video.
i didn't change anything or author this thread.

even now, i do not know for sure what was hurled toward whom but i do know the law says such acts are a punishable crime.

Christian violance not a thing of the past either. Its just not done through the organised church these days... I think the point was they both have had violent pasts though.

On the off chance people want to see what actually occured instead of using a video that is biased.

Christians use Arab festival as platform

Published: June 16, 2012 at 1:47 PM

DEARBORN, Mich., June 16 (UPI) -- Christian missionaries reportedly taunted Muslims attending the annual Arab International Festival in Dearborn, Mich., telling them they would "burn in hell."

While there was no serious violence Friday night, some young Muslims threw plastic bottles and cans at the Christians and one poured water on a missionary who said the Muslims were "transgressing against God," the Detroit Free Press reported Saturday.

The Christians have become a regular feature of the festival, held in the largest Arab-American community in the United States, the newspaper said.

Signs carried by the Christians included one that read "Islam is a religion of blood and murder" and another with a drawing of a pig's head.

At least two Christian groups were present Friday. One took a gentler approach, handing out religious literature and urging Muslims to accept Jesus without denigrating Islam.

Festival organizers said they did not expect the more anti-Muslim group to return Saturday because they were scheduled to move on to a gay festival in Ohio.

Then what you have is.. You dont know if the graffiti and arson where related and those acts are punnishable as hate crime, you dont know what was being thrown at the event, or who started the altercation but you do obviously have a side you still lean to even though you dont know any facts of the issues at hand?

this is a effin joke.these evangelists went to the gathering to stir up emotions and cause trouble just to get footage of themselves getting abused.and unless raw eggs are a muslim treat that they carry on family outings there were quite a few trouble makers on muslim side as well .this thread title is misleading.you try to make it sound as if muslims were running through the streets stoning old christian ladies and babies to death.

Do you even read posts you reply to? This # happens alllllllll the time, we're wasting our time fighting over who's more wrong on a silly website ffs. In other words, NO I don't want them to fight but there's nothing we can do to stop it. We either add to the fighting or stand on the side, there's no getting in between religions.

Yeah, and do you understand that a donkey's head on a stick is equivelant to an elephant showing up to the Democratic National Convention? LMAO! Or something like that.

Pick your pudding flavor, cause most people that can think for themselves don't give a crap either way about either of these groups of morons on their high horse religious dogma. What a bunch of mindless sheoplized slaves to both man made fairy tales.

They really should just allow them to beat eachother to near death with a Rabbi as the referee and then make it available for purchase on pay per view cable. ~$heopleNation

*shrugs* I dont call people sheep when people dont agree with me. I dont pretend another person is blind just because they have another view from the one i hold. The other guys i am debating in this thread, i still respect them as people and i dont quesiton the intelligence they hold. To me the "sheeple" bit is a short cut to thought.
