Construction workers removed their helmets and looked on teary-eyed as the final steel beam of 4 World Trade Center was lifted into place Monday, the first such milestone since the 16-acre site was decimated on 9/11.

Gospel singer BeBe Winans performed "God Bless America" as the beam and a U.S. flag were hoisted 977 feet by a crane and placed on top of the building. More than 100 construction workers signed their names to the steel at a ceremony that included elected officials and developer

God Bless America played as the last remaining steel beam, signed by politicians, construction workers was raised to the top of WTC4 as the crowd cried and reflected on the full circle of WTC being destroyed and now rising from the ashes.

Larry Silverstien was on hand for this monumental moment in New York and our nations history.

Regardless of your feelings about what happened on that day, we have now started to rebuild what was destroyed 11 years ago.
