In other words...

You can't take responsibility for your actions.

You were wrong but it was someone else's fault.

There was a huge effort to convince a lot of people something terrible was planned for the Olympic games. From predictive programming in music, film, TV shows, adverts, to the MSM covering the G4S scandal, almost advertising something was going to happen, this is conspiracy was legit.

Or the counterpoint is it's all people seeing what they want to see and no effort was made at all.

That's equally as likely.

Unfair, I quite clearly stated in my thread that I fell for the conspiracy 'hook line and sinker' and that was my fault and my fault only. I'll try and learn from it.

I think the various attempts at ridicule on this forum already prove the point I was making.

come on man, there is clearly substance to the 'theory', way too many references to choose from for them all to be coincidence.

IF nothing happens, then I believe my theory is very feasible given how certain influential people in government view the spread and danger of conspiracies.

You've only got your kind to blame my friend.
Kudos for admitting you were mislead though, even if you think it was deliberate.

May have been a case of blind leading the blind, that kinda thing.

Please elaborate "your kind"?

Going by your nickname and avatar, you're not blind at all.

Just a soldier, following orders, from your masters.

But there aren't. There really aren't. That's the problem. People see what they want to see.

Everything that could possibly be seen as part of the 'theory' is minutely dissected and analysed. Everything that isn't is ignored. So it seems like it's everywhere but really it's everywhere because it's being focused on.

Selective bias it's called.

I agree, with all the news agents saying ''we dont know whether an attack will take place'' and the multiple use of the word ''terror''. That was the real false flag, to get people on the edge.

As I was watching to ceremony and noticed all of the VIP's I thought, if tptb are the world elite theres no way they are going to blow up the place when it is filled with said elite.

The closing ceremony on the other hand...

Confirmation bias my good sir!

In a way, we're all guilty of it.

It's how much of it we are aware of it that matters.

So, seeking out those who think the same as you will of course give you the results you want.

If they're wrong, you're wrong.

Blind leading the blind.

There was no conspiracy, it was all in your imagination.

Nice platitudes. You never answered my simple question.

I seek out those who think better than i, to learn, even if by other's mistakes.

What is your goal here?

But I did answer your simple question.

Wonderer2012 thinks that TPTB created this theory to discredit conspiracy theorists.

I think that conspiracy theorists created this theory because that's what they do, there was no nefarious plan, just a snowballing effect as proponent after proponent clung to it and blew it out of proportion.

So when I say "your kind" I am saying that everyone who grasped onto this theory is to blame, they created it, they turned it into what it is now.

And even as I offer this alternative viewpoint, you can't help but think there is some nefarious plan in the works here, why else would you insinuate that I have a "master" and some sort of "goal".

Put the conspiracy kool aide down my friend.

You found us, it seems we never fell for
repeated charlatan claims.. And since it turns out our notions were right

that makes us alot smarter and less able to keep falling for stuff like this just saying

This is ATS and i welcome your views and everyone has a right to speak
So harry it is not just a site for conspiracy theorists only... but for all to deny ignorence

And i will continue to deny it

Perhaps if you toned down the ad-hominem attacks you'd see whats being said better.

No.

This is a website dedicated to conspiratorial ideas ... coming in here and calling us crazy, while claiming to be "one of us" is just ... normal, everything is normal, great cool aid.

Yes but the conspirators can still be the conspiracists buddy, for profitable
gain, attention, false teachings, and to deny ignorence so it is a site for all

What did you expect alot of people are let down by witch doctors again
they are frustrated.. Sounds like you are upset, maybe you should talk to
these charlatans and give them a piece of your mind.. not us pal peace

There is a difference between calling someone crazy (which I did not do) and pointing out when someone changes the goal posts.

I am seeing a convenient change of goal posts right now in this thread.

I was fine with the concept of a false flag at the Olympics, what better place to make a statement??

But now, once shown to be wrong (it's ok to be wrong), it has now seemingly been turned into a plot to discredit the conspiracy theorist.

This is just crazy (Now I've called something crazy) and is shirking any and all responsibilities in the matter.

Sorry if that isn't conspiratorial enough for you, I thought members here had more integrity than that.
